Also sure enough Maia mentions Purgatory this time and a video does show up. Maybe whoever grabbed those other two SearchNET vids could do the same here?

Day 8 - Entry 2: Written.

I always used to hate crowds. Oxford Street, the Tube, airports - everyone always in such a hurry.

When the Crash happened, there were thousands of people around me and then - gone. Disappeared complerely. Clothes, jewellery, everything. They just vanished.

Except me. Was I standing in the right place? Protected somehow? Am I different? Or was it just a miracle?

Was I chosen for a purpose? Is this some new concrete Garden of Eden? I keep coming back to it - why me? Who chose me, rather than pretty much anyone? I'm not religious, not since I was a kid. I'm not good at blind faith. There were so many better people out there - people who believed. People with real faith and purpose and conviction. People who could cope.

 		I searched for prison (as it looked like on was shown in the purgatory video) and it showed a train going through some sort of underground tunnel. Don't know if this has been spotted before.

Also searched for something else that I cant remember now, and got a video of various army vehicles. Again, dont know if these have been seen before but i have been following this forum for a while.

Yeah both of those are 'generic search vids' nothing major, nice try though!

And where did you see a prison in the Purg' video? I only saw what I transcripted.

 		Well when it showed buildings in the video, one looked like a school and another looked like a prison (the one with orange-bricked walls).

 		Hmm you might be onto something there....

The first one definitely looked like an education building of somekind (Her University maybe?) - The second one, with the sunshine you mean? I kind of thought it was just blocks of flats like we have over here in the UK; but you might have a point.

I'll have another look after I'm done downloading some stuff...

 		Plot Summary of afterworld off wikipedia.

After travelling to New York City on a business trip, Russell Shoemaker wakes to find all electronic technology dead and more than 99% of the human race missing. Driven by a need to discover the truth and determined to return to his family, he embarks on a journey to his home in Seattle, while recording and telling all of the events in his journal. Afterworld is the story of Russell's 3,000-mile (4,800 km) trek across a post-apocalyptic America as he encounters the strange new societies rebuilding themselves. Along the way, he also attempts to solve the mystery of what caused this global event, which survivors refer to as "the Fall."

In addition to new forms of government, Russell discovers that technology has failed due to a persistent electromagnetic pulse, a product of a collection of satellites that was activated almost simultaneously to the Fall. An additional side effect of the EMP is the rapid mutation of many forms of life, including Shoemaker himself. He describes that his night-vision has improved dramatically, along with his endurance. Other examples are seen in cattle Russell happens across, who're dying of a previously unheard of flesh-eating disease.

Russell's journey eventually brings him to a nearly deserted San Francisco, and the headquarters of an organization known as the Parthia Group, who had developed a form of nano-technology, which identified humans with a particular genetic makeup.

 		Definitely has the hallmarks of the "Other side of the story" IMO... Although it could merely have derived from this series. Apparently it was never heard of again after 1 season so...

But that gives me the inkling to download and watch this show now lol.

i think the building in the vid that looks like the university, (blue panels on the front), is paddington green police station. if you put "paddington green" into searchnet then you get a picture of it.

as for the prison, maybe wandsworth?

Tis true. Subnet.sol was on my computer. And I can't access the sites. Go figure. Laughing

That Afterworld serial is apparently being made into a game by Sony. A multi-platform game. More info on that: http://www.updates.spti.com/ Click on Digital Entertainment. It looks intriguing, even if it isn't related to this one.

I guess if it is, it could be that they're deciding that it will be such a hit that they need to organize a companion game that takes place across the pond.

I kept up with Afterworld a little bit several months ago. Guess I need to get back to it, eh?

Ok MAJOR confusion going on here Steph LOL.

1: You have evidently visited www.emergencysubnet.com because you've got a shitload of info for us lol... And you said you accessed it via the net, obvioulsy.

2: You say you don't have access on your computer.

So. Are you going to Emergencysubnet.com via someone elses/a public P.C?

Because what I'm saying is... If you've visited either www.emergencysubnet.com or I also believe the original website which had the counter from the very beginning... Subnet.sol will log itself onto your P.C - Even if you've not actually been surfing the site on your home P.C...

Edit: And sidenote... How the heck do I watch the A.W series? Is it through www.afterworld.tv?
