limping clover we know that clovie has huge barnacles and parasites on the top layer of his skin, and that he must live deep in the sea. which would explain why his skin is so resistant to our weaponry.
but i don't think it is that 'immune' to our weaponry. a user posted i guess a review book on cloverfield in which it said it had ear membranes and was tired when we saw in in central park.
so im saying i think the top layer of clove might have alot of parasites, barnacles, and other organic hitch hikers that might increase the hardness of the skin. the review also said when it was limping you could see broken blood vessels, and barnacles. which is why i need somebody to provide that clip for me.
also it said MGP threw it's arm out in an act to keep balance when it was getting bombed. so i don't get how it could be weak, fall. then just get up and keep it moving. did we ever find out what was the time diff from that scene to the central park one?

it wasn't limping- don't you remember the creature's creator 'Neville Page' mentioning that it didn't have its land legs yet? It was more-less wobbling- like a newborn would if it were learning to walk for the very first time.

Why is it so resistant to our weapons?
Simple answer: Because a big-ass monster tearing through a city with impunity is scary.

who said anything about it being 'pre-mature?'
Have you ever seen a baby horse or deer when it's born? their legs are extremely weak.

I never limped when I was first-born. I came out tap-dancing. Only weaklings limp.

Gabby Johnson is right.
But back to the topic, the monster did seem somewhat winded, and the carpet bombing did at least knock it down. I dunno nuthin' 'bout no broken blood vessels, though.
