I would hope they care enough about the game (that we're playing) that they'll find better ways to market the game (that everyone will be playing in the streets) than undermining the former in this way.

In Ariadne's blog post she has a link to the Wiki which is crossed out using a strikethrough tag.

What's up with that? Are they trying to encourage the use of the Wiki without quite acknowledging it to be IG?

It could be a hint for us to set up a IG resource site, for all players and characters to share. Like the wiki, but no Meta. We are after all solving this together with the characters.

Or, they really don't give a damn if it's IG or OOG.

It's not striked out anymore for me... In fact, she goes on to compliment the multiple translations. maybe it's just been decided that its too useful of a resource to start over from scratch.

Did you all notice Ariadne's new blog post?

By the way, in case you're wondering why I haven't blogged about dramatic confrontations with Mr. Hunt lately... he is officially M.I.A.

The secretary at the society told me he was officially "on leave" to pursue a research lead in South America. Apparently, this struck everyone at the society as quite odd, since there are no known ancient Olympic artifacts in South America. The secretary asked me if I knew what Eli was really up to.

What, exactly, has Mr. Hunt gone off to investigate? I wonder if Diego's friends, or Larissa's friends, have a better idea. For now, your guess is as good as mine...

Of course, it's possible Eli was spooked by the mysterious "Theo" who stole my artifact. I wonder if Theo paid Eli a visit as well? Maybe I should try to get back into his office to look for more clues... Speaking of clues, I'm still curious about the postcard Theo left behind. You guys figured out it's a photo of the 1920s Olympic stadium in Antwerp, and we know the Lost Ring Codex was hidden around that time. But why did Theo try to threaten me with a picture of a 1920s stadium? To prove that he knows what I know? Or to suggest he knows MORE than I know?

Hmmm...Should we think of ideas for her on what to search for?

Well I'm not too sure about what Theo's gig is, but one possible explanation for Eli Going to South America may be related to a theory I've seen tossed around in the forums before, which is that the lost ring is somehow related to Atlantis. It has been argued before (no less than by our very own Francis Bacon) that Plato's Atlantis was in fact South America. Here is a link to a site that talks about this , obviously not academic nor necessarily trust worthy, but as Atlantis is a "theory" there's no reason we should dismiss another "theory" merely on the grounds that it could be total, well ya know... After all Mr. Hunt has some unusual and dodgy theories of his own.
