Okay, well, I've only been in the SWF for about 10 seconds... but the image is titled swordLogo for the main page and contestSwordLogo in the contest page.
Also to note, the symbol itself is still blue. It must have been altered through ActionScript.
Will edit this with more as I find.
Edit: To be honest, I can't seem to find anything else.

Ooo! Sword Logo eh? Perhaps you guys who think it's the cult logo may be right! Exciting!

Considering the image is called "Sword Logo", I'm going to go ahead and guess it's going to be used later on as a Slusho logo or something. It does have a 6 in it after all.

FINALLY, SOMETHING HAPPENED!
I thought it had all but died after the US release.
Anyone notice how awfully similar the art is to the artwork in Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker? Just throwing that out there, though I think the Clover Cult is the best lead right now.
Anyone checked the other sites? Anything going on them?

Was googling Sword and shell and found this:
http://www.manandmollusc.net/molluscan_food_files/molluscan_food_7.html
http://www.geocities.com/slongrigg/ensis.html
Its a Sword Razor Shell, a type of edible molusk.
I wouldn't have mentioned it at all, except how it compares to the 'nails' on the cult bracelets.. and MGP's nails.
It's found in the Mediterranean and Northern Atlantic Ocean.

Yea, the shape isnt really the same as Clovers nails or the cults jewls. But the material it is made of is almost identical, its shiny but changes from a light color to a dark color.

So, what do you all make of this?
I think the most plausible is undoubtedly that this is the logo of the cult that kidnapped Kishin. But, you start to wonder why this is displayed in the homepage and contest page only. What's the relevance of the contest page?
Also, I noticed that, in contrast to the home screen, where the logo is displayed last, in the contest page, the logo is the first thing to be displayed.

Because in the sequel, the only people that survived the attack were the Slusho 9, who are revealed one at a time with over drawn-out flashforwards...

MAgatama would make sense
They are often found inhumed in mounded tumulus graves as offerings to deities(Clover)
I'm not well versed in Japanese lore, but I've been thinking about it some more and I found a kind of resemblance between the comma shape and a necklace in the second part of the Kishin comic.

Anyone else think this could be a clue? Since the comic is giving us more insight on the origins of Slusho, perhaps this is related...
Those shells on the necklace actually look like Magatama's. They were often put onto necklaces and bracelets too. I did a bit of reading on them and apparently in modern terms that symbol stands for the human spirit. Which you do see in a lot of spiritual anime's like Inu Yasha. Considering how its drawn in the swordlogo it reminds me of the Blue Seed Magatama's than a chat bubble or thought bubble. Quite possibly it has something to do with the cult, the sword, on the other hand is a symbol of power. I think it will have more to do with japanese culture, considering the website is 'japanese'. The answer this time I think is simple, how the Magatama and sword apply to the manga I'm unsure but those shells on that necklace resemble Magatama's.

I'm puttin my money on the symbol havin somethin to do with the cult from the manga. I still think we've missed something else that is staring us right in the face and J.J. Abrams is laughing his ass off at us. Remember how the T.I.D.O. website said to look for Janice's picture, or look for Janice's picture... I'm too lazy at the moment to check exactly what it said. My point is, did we ever see the picture? NO. There is a clue or info that has been starin us in the face all this time, we just can't find it.
