Will get the DVD sorted on weds. If its videos I will try upload them on my channel. I'll see if I can make copies too.

The whole is greater then the whole
Be brought together through Music.
Bring The Music together through play.
Change the outcome through collective creativity.

hopefully this will shed some light or maybe not, i thought i was getting somewhere with tour dates from the videos
Plus anyone know who is this one http://uk.youtube.com/user/PARTICLE00001 (i cant see any vids on profile)
has a lot of videos named The Music - arg teasers and only joined youtube 5 hours ago http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=4tAY5sYjdoM
also nrisin , i dont think kevc is intending to show hate towards anyone at all, ive known him for a fair while as has giant frying pan, and hes a good lad. at no point has he or others said about confronting or "beating up" boyd or anyone related to the music - i can assure you that he (and everyone else who posts on the forum you mention) is a big fan of the band and just has other things to do with his time.
hope there are no hard feelings here!
thanks
Rob

If thats the case then why are they dissing the thing. If they are big fans of the band as you say why discourage things that they doing to promote themselves. As far as this things goes we all reckon its building up. The band have not done any advertising at all yet. I think although boyd seems to be working on this it illustrates the bands music in a way as it make you THINK more about it. So other people who don't really get into music's meaning etc and why the band or rob wrote about what they did are going to get into it more so. The album would become more meaningful to them.
No hard feelings. Just dont make sense to have it dissed all the time its putting others off. They want official news they get it, what they complaining about. The fact there baffled means that the vids have had more effect on them. Like kev says its the most talked about stuff if they don't want to be appart fine just dont put people who are following it off. At the end of the day there going to get their official news n that.

i wouldnt worry too much, there are a fair few of us on there that are looking at these and trying to work things out. we got word from a good source that sometimes the band wont even realise what is happening, but reassured that it is a way of providing news and updates
rest assured i will keep trying my best to decipher some of these things
moving on then...
have you noticed on the sarg tmt layer 4 videos that at the end of the body scenes from 1m04 onwards until the song kicks in there are words that appear?? im trying to find out what these say!
its the first time ive tried to trail one of these, so bear with me if i go off on the wrong track!

Hi Rob, it seems that the you tube account that you put the link up for before is another player who has posted on other forums, she's also noticed on sargTmT layer4 that there seems to be text at the very start as well as after each of the body sequences, when you try and play back the video in slow motion it is difficult to go through it frame by frame, have you had any luck on layer 4?

Blue lighting contrasts and silhouette as seen in Boyd's work.
Person sat desk theme and alienated theme. Isolated people.
I think this is the contrast to the Strength in Numbers theme. If you look at Boyd's showreel there is either 1 individual or many.

An article that has visual theme of strength in numbers

Quote:
The Calling is profound and stirring and cuts into our preconceptions of origin and evolution, not only of ourselves, the human creature, but from the inaugural onset of time itself, the planet. The imagery used on the single channel video by artist Chris Boyd is sensual and emotive. It imbues a sense of our physical entity and existence, where we have come from and ultimately leaves one with a sense of reflection and retrospective. An awareness of the moment, now, as if standing on the precipice of contemplation of where humanity is going. It is both sexual and spiritual, the fundamentals that drive life forward. It is provocative, yet intrinsic, and touches on the core elements of human consciousness and perception of time and space and our roles within the socio-historical edifice. As I watched the writhing and cascading bodies, genomic re-reproduction of digitalised forms, I saw my heritage, myself and my progeny in that one moment. It captures the viewer, but gets inside and holds them at that moment where time seems to stand still. The split second of awakenings and realisations cognitive, as 'I think, therefore I am' (Descartes), E = mc˛ (Einstein); Eureka (Archimedes); 'Now, I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds', Oppenheimer. The sentience is embodied in Boyd's visualisations.

Lots of isolated figures in Boyds work who are in the processes of creating other works, eg. the Tigs something new video, the singer tigs seems to be being introspective and contemplating ideas for poetry. In one shot where she's at her desk you see her writting her own lyrics for her own track. This has similarities to sargTmT layer 3 because we see Tigs in the video writing the lyrics we are listening to. This structre distorts spase and time because we see Tigs going through a symbolic process of creating her own lyrics but this is an event that in reality occured before the video was made. In layer 3 we are watching a video of Boyd editing the video that we are watching, again distorting space and time.

I don't Boyd is 19. Check this that he's wrote. Its as if its a Phd dissertation. It was a text-file on the dvd.
Could there be codes in a text file?

Considering that were on the cusp of the singularity, I feel it would be interesting to propose an Accelerated Self. If were going to continue developing a prosthetic nervous system and head towards Baudrillard's "desert of the real" Self can be criticized as a Deleuzian "becoming other".
a Kurzweil thought.
"If I ask the question, 'Who am I?' I could conclude that, perhaps I am this stuff here, i.e., the ordered and chaotic collection of molecules that comprise my body and brain.
However, the specific set of particles that comprise my body and brain are completely different from the atoms and molecules than comprised me only a short while (on the order of weeks) ago. We know that most of our cells are turned over in a matter of weeks. Even those that persist longer (e.g., neurons) nonetheless change their component molecules in a matter of weeks.
So I am a completely different set of stuff than I was a month ago. All that persists is the pattern of organization of that stuff. The pattern changes also, but slowly and in a continuum from my past self. From this perspective I am rather like the pattern that water makes in a stream as it rushes past the rocks in its path. The actual molecules (of water) change every millisecond, but the pattern persists for hours or even years."
Kurzweil's thoughts on Self suggests that mortality is committed to the physical phobia of entropy. Even "being" and "becoming" frame the organism in a nonsuperconductive state weighed down by burgeoning effects of gravity. The Freud-Newtonian theory of resistances suggests neurosis as an inefficient or blocked passage of energy residing within the organism, while psychosis suggests superconductive discharge because it is uninhibited.
The notions of Self are in a transition now. The Self is expanding online where peoples roles and lives are meaningfully spent in a virtual world. Are our avatars a representation of anatomical transgression as a singularly provocative prosthetic of the Self?
I propose that excessive avatar images as a revolutionary efflorescence of identity, a kind of post-humanist revolt, a jouissance.
It is interesting that we call our characters "avatars". To me this implies a rather detached, scientific sense of identity, that leads to an extreme ambivalence. The interplay of imvu users becomes an uncomfortable correspondence between deliberate fetishism and fantasy to ones surreptitiously purloin gaze.Ths prosthetic state of this mode of communication blurs the psychic barrier between the interior and the exterior, thus calling the traditional notions of Self into question.
The neurologist Paul Mobius suggested that the "Self is only an organ." Using the topographical figure of the mobius strip he described the cutaneous and subcutaneous membranes circulating the body as a single continuous plane. While this spatiality dissolves the interiority and the exteriority it also democratizes the anatomy thereby disinvesting the brain of its sovereignty.
What can be said about being after that?

Also Particle got this from a secret website.
It starts off by saying receiving transmission and then this video plays on a loop.
Its definitely Boyd's with his credits at the end.
Its too blurry to see any hidden texts or stuff in the video.
