That would be really interesting if it turned out that US users can't visit the UK SubNET site, and UK users couldn't visit the Afterworld site, yet the game is about the circumstances in Afterworld. Deffo sounds to me like it could be. And also deffo sounds like this could be a case of US vs. UK, which could explain the geoblocking.

Oh... the geoblocking thing. I've tried that free anon proxy site I've seen mentioned all over the place, but I can't ever get the page to load. I dunno. I don't even get a 404... I just get dead link. I've checked my firewalls and my script blockers and I'm not understanding why I can't get on to the site. I wonder if Cox has it blocked locally.

Has anybody heard anything more about the upcoming movie "The Happening"? I don't know anything about the movie, but the ad makes it seem like everybody just suddenly vanishes. Does anybody think it could be linked with the ARG and/or Afterworld?

(I LOVE that there's an old oval VW Bug in the poster for this movie. I have a '68 Bug. The poster's already very cool, but now I have added incentive to buy it. )

On the commNET page, maybe if the logos on the left are highlighted in the right order, then something new might open up.

My session has timed out so I can't try it, but its an option. It would explain why they only light up but dont actually do anything.

Whenever you access commnet the power goes straight down to 1%. So it seems something speed related.

There's 7 different symbols too, so I think it's unlikely it has anything to do with order! There's 5040 different combinations of them 7 symbols

Actually that's not such a bad idea...

Read the things on the right. Highlight on the left corresponding w/ them (EG: Dial 999 - Hit emergency services logos in the order you'd call them? Ambulance, Fire, Police etc?).

Edit: Actually you're wrong about being unable to get anything... I clicked one of them and got this pic. Will update more if I get them.

Ok this is all of them in order.

Underground/Train Icon (Both give the same).

Emergency Services Icon (All 3 give you the same).

First Aid Icon.

The British Armed Forces Icon doesn't light up/Give you anything.

The numbers on the tube map seem to indicate...

1 = Acton Town
2 = Baker Street
3 = Embankment
4 = Could be Angel Road...

Actually you're right on #s 1 and 2

But 3: London Bridge and 4: Between Wood Green & Tottenham Hale.
