EMAIL PRUFROCK: Graffiti (Possible Email to Chief of Police)

This is an email I'm considering sending to the Chief of Police in Aglaura, concering the grafitti, and it's origin. If you have any comments on the format, the writing, possible, corrections, or if the question has already been asked... please reply Smile

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Chief of Police,
It was with great interest that I chanced upon the image of the Graffiti that was, sadly, sprayed upon Aglaura's new library. I recently graduated from Drew University majoring in Anthropology, and I minored in Archaeology. During my studies I became quite interested in the myths and folklore of the New Jersey area.
Recently a friend from college mentioned to me Aglaura's website, which he found during a search for a new residence. I was impressed with the good design and level of professionalism in the website, and was surprised by it as not many towns have websites of their own.
One of the things I came across while looking at your website, was the Graffiti, which is the point of this email. I have been looking at many archives of symbols and markings of ancient cultures, which I have acquired during my time at Drew College. Unfortunately, my efforts have been for naught because the symbol depicted in the photograph is unlike those that I have seen. Has there been any investigation into the meaning of the Graffiti, and if so, what knowledge has been gained? I am very interested in this symbol, and I realize that because it was not finished, it is much harder to analyze. If only the perpetrators had chosen a less criminal medium upon which to voice their message. Any knowledge on the origin or meaning of their "artistry" may help me help the Aglaura Police Department in finding the culprits. Thank you for your time and help.

Why would the police release that info to you. You have to realise that if you wrote something like that to the local police they would not release the information. The only was information could be released is if you were someone more powerful than them say some type of detective or even dare I say it FBI agent. I dont know maybe someone will see this and come up with a more convincing way. Good job. with some work we can get these police people eating out of our hands.

Hopefully Colonel Fitz will be a more powerful presence. I followed up on the Press Conference today and emailed the Mayor. I mentioned the symbols and how all info should be sent to me (Col Fitz). See thread by me, Follow up [to] Mayor Dobbs.
