Hmmm.....that was odd....

Why would they want to have someone posing as Mandee? Unless they are just trying to extract information...

OK, that makes more sense.

And yeah, they should have at least checked over her chat logs.

I actually would have perfered for them to cut the crap and just started threatening me :/ I think I could have gotten some relavent information out of it.

Should I call their bluff next time they're on, or should I hold it in just in case it is her and/or to let the bad guys think they're winning?

Personally, I prefer the deceptive route. Let them think they have you snowed. You may be able to get more out of them that way. They will slip up and that could lead to you getting some vital info. But, that's just my opinion...lol

Same here. I don't get why the PM would cast such a wide net to get players and then make it so hard for everyone to stay with the game. I guess I'll email Mandee with something in order to stay in the loop, but at this point, I'm not even sure what to say.

I think I'm going to try a much more direct approach with the bad guys. Illidan, go ahead and keep letting them think they've got you fooled, if you want. I'm gonna take a more bad cop angle here and just flat out call 'em out, see what happens.

EDIT: Here's what I'm going to send:

Listen, you may have one guy snowed, but this ain't my first rodeo. You aren't Mandee, so let's cut the crap and get straight to the point, shall we?

So what's your beef with the AotS staff?

Which address are you sending it to?

I'm sending it to Mandee's. I assume that's the one I need to send it to in order to reach the bad guys.

And yeah, my first rodeo. It's a figure of speech. I've heard it somewhere. S'posed to mean "this isn't my first time around the block" or something like that. Goes with the hardass routine I'm trying to set up with these oh-so-kind plane-crashing folks.

I figured as much, its just that figure of speech hasn't made its way to my neck of the woods yet.

I've emailed Mandee as well, but it was more just to get looped back into what's going on.

It's generally the kind of thing you'd hear a gruff badass (read: Wolverine) say. Since that's the angle I'm gonna work, I figure it's good to sound the part. No response as of yet, but they only seem to be active at night, so I'm not expecting anything until later.

The next logical step, of course, is to send them an email comprised entirely out of Dirty Harry quotes.
