Hi all. My first post here, so I figured I'd make it useful. I'm able to do translating from French and German into English. I've got a good understanding of both languages (though not fluent), and a knack for interpreting the gobbledegook that Google language tools spits out when I can't figure out exactly what Markus/Lucie are saying. I'm also quite willing to make a go at translating some of the other languages as well, if I can make sense of them. No time like the present to learn a few new words of Portugese or Spanish!

I've been working on Markus' diary as well, so I think between the three of us (Aerith, GeekDream, and myself), we'll be able to get something pretty readable finished in the next day or so!

It's great to procrastinate at work sometimes and practice my German, rather than actually do work... *g*

I'm mostly just taking the translations from online translators... better to have something up there instead of nothing i say... but those who can translate should definitely go back over what i've typed in... as words like

dressed = clothes and things like that... Smile

I dunno if thats helpful really or not... but i think its better than having blank spaces with no translation at all...

Hi, I'm fluent in french written spoken, and a couple regional dialects. Also know a bit of dutch (used to be fluent) just in case that pops up at some point.

I've found this post here.... and we are also starting to look for "language leaders"

If you would be interested in being a "main go to person" and summarizing things for your language lets get a group like that going.... I think it is really missing!

Added the people from the last few weeks who have joined us and volunteered new languages.

I originally posted about this in a different thread, but it fits better here:

Do we have anyone monitoring the forums of Meihui and the other non-English athletes? The East Bay Express article interviewing McGonigal gives the hint that sometimes revelations appear exclusively in the blogs of the other athletes besides Ariadne, and I'm glad we are doing a pretty good job at translating all those blogs/etc., but I wonder if we shouldn't also be monitoring the worldwide FtLR community, especially since ideally all Sofias/etc. should really be collaborating on the Sofia/etc. missions.
