'Bout freakin' time the ARG got some new stuff. I'm not really surprised, though, because the rest of the stuff didn't end up making any sense, either on its own or in relation to the movie. Figured there had to be more.

Hmmm... So if the sword logos on Slusho's website and Tagruato's website are facing the same direction, why is it not in the same direction behind the Missing poster? Curiouser and curiouser... Confused

Here is my thoughts:
The latest version of the Manga was released and translated (kind of) and its got roughly 56 pages of new storyline. Interestingly enough, page three shows a bracelet or necklace with the "wave" symbol on it. Later on page 49 a masked man tries to abduct the girl and he is wear the same bracelet. The masked men take the main character to some sort of dark room where he is confronted by people wearing robes and masks. The masks resemble Cloverfield and the lead "priest" has a much more elaboate mask. My guess this hints at the adult form of Cloverfield.

This brings me back to the new symbol that has popped up. The wave probably represents a Cloverfield worshipping cult. The sword can mean one of two things. One, its the same group hacking into the various websites. Or two, it means there is yet another group trying to take down the cult represented by the wave symbol.

Also, on the new pic on 1-18-08.com, the symbol is backwards. If you flip the picture up and down instead of left and right, it is in proper alignment. I can't make out the text however. It does look like #410, but if its upside-down, I have no idea what it is. If anybody can flip this image and do a good zoom, that would maybe lead to another hint or clue.
