dvd release question

 		dvd release question
any help?
hi, i'm new here but i'll probably continue to post here in the cloverfield forum since im a big fan of the movie. if anyone could help with my question, that'd be nice. Smile

does anyone know if the standard dvd release of cloverfield will be release simultaneously with the blu-ray release? i recently got a playstation 3 and it'd be awesome to watch it in high-def. amazon lists a blu-ray version of cloverfield as well as the standard, the standard being released on april 22nd and the blu-ray being billed as "currently out of stock."

i'm sure it probably might be released simultaneously but i just wanted to check here and see if anyone knew anything about it besides what i know.

 		It definitely will NOT be released on Blu-Ray on April 22nd.

Paramount was in the HD-DVD camp until recently, but now that the format is dead, they are scrambling to move everything over to Blu-Ray. Unfortunately, this will take a while, so I wouldn't expect anything on Blu-Ray from Paramount until this summer.
