Re: RUN GRAPH

Completely random thought with no basis in reality: Could the graph be changing because the omphaputer is showing us graphs that apply to difference universes?

I assume that the answer is "No" -- because I think we'd have noticed by now -- but has the globe changed at all? Specifically, has anyone noticed whether the blue dots show differing geography when the graph is different?

Very interesting idea. I think the blue dots represent land mass, where there might not be any cities big enough for it to draw a white dot. And I haven't seen either white or blue change shape into anything other than our recognizable Earth continents.

How crazy would that be though? Seeing some other Earth's continents? *headasplodes thinking about having to track down a green dot in that case*

This is what the graph looked like when I discovered the RUN GRAPH command.

Thanks...'kay, I was wrong. It's exactly the same now as it was in the beginning. Maybe the whole thing's just cyclical...

So, I was babelfishing Diego's blog about his trip to Brazil and thinking about this..

Doesn't the timeline fit that while he was doing this, the graph changed. When he stopped, the graph returned to its other state.

My feeling from this is that the graph is graphing how well we've managed to synch with other worlds, and in managing to do something with Labyrinths in Brazil, Diego affected it.

I have no idea how to read the thing though or why it stopped showing the changes. But what Diego talks about fits too well to be cooincidence.

There is a point in the graph where the lines goes down. I calculate the date of that point aprox. 19/10/2007 (i took a screen shot, then i count pixels...).

If you google "terremoto de octubre" , you find that there was an hoaxe that talk about a man that profetize an earthquake in Peru, eartuaque that should happened in 18/10/2007.

http://www.google.com.ar/search?hl=es&q=terremoto+octubre&meta=

There is a lot of search results...
Coincidence?

The GRAPH changed again, and now if you zoom into 2008 you'll see that it's going frickin' backwards now?!!

The way the lines curve backwards is _very_ weird. This is not a normal plot of a value over time..

It's really hard for me to tell on my screen (every time I type something in the omphaputer, the screen gets really dark), but are there fewer lines?

Don't remember for sure what the lines in the old graphs looked like, but are the lines for the past dates changing as well?

[EDIT] So now I can see my screen...It looks like either the lines are overlapping, or we've lost 2...

If you hit ESCape, the typing will disappear and the globe/graph brightens up again... Smile

Drop 6B
Found a drop! What now?

A few hours ago I stumbled across this project and I haven't had time to read and see eveything yet. I am exrtremely intreaged and became matchingly eager when it dawned on me, that there was an unrecovered drop here, in Copenhagen! I rushed to Roberts Cafe, and after harrassing several visitors, I found the dromp: an envelope taped under a counter in the window!

But... what now? I have scanned it and tried to descipher it of cause, but where do I report this find?! Who do I send it to?

Help!

Okay. Muumin. YOU ARE OUR HERO.

Now. Take photos. Many photos.

Photo of the drop site (if possible), and of the envelope.

Now. Open the envelope.

Take pictures of the page(s). OR upload your scans!

Do you see the line PRUVO DE REHAVIGO: xxxx/xxxx... on the bottom of the last page?

Give us that! Or, if you're not sure about a particular letter/number, just give us the scans and we'll decode it! And explain it to you!

AGAIN, YOU ARE OUR HERO.

[edit: lol, thebruce, total mindmeld. "you are our hero". hehee. we have espn. Razz]

Muumin! You are our hero! Wink

First thing I think everyone wants - can you quote the code at the end of the page? a bunch of letters/numbers after "pruvo de rehavigo"

that'll let everyone see the document in full quality.

ETA: Actually, if you could, post it in the Copenhagen thread, just to keep things in their respective threads Wink

Run graph

My ideas regarding the Run Graph:

The 6 colored lines represent the 6 continental world forms. The grey line is the total sum of all worlds existing simulatanously. The upper limit is the dotted line at 10^11.

In the beginning of the graph everything went more or less well. There should have been already some problems because the total sum was already near the limit. But this could be "adjusted" by ongoing Rapid Continental Changes (RCC). Especially the "purple" worlds are transformed to "light blue" worlds, because they are more "external"

But then 1812 sonething happened. Perhaps the purple worlds have disconnected or were lost. They started to increase rapidly as not involved in any synchronizing anymore.

As a result nature tried to compensate by making RCC to other worlds (which are now more "external" as the purple ones not controlable anymore). This leads to some decreasing in those worlds. Especially "orange" and "blue" are transformed to "light blue" and even "red".

But reality was not able to compensate for the lost "purple" world/ring. So the upper limit was reached 1815 and ... BANG.

Now after 1815 the purple line is still missing! So there are only 5 worlds and one total sum.

Questions:
1) Was the situation already bad 1800 or is this "working on the limit" a normal situation?
3) How do the colors fit to the world forms?
2) What happened 1812 (not 1815)?
