And I still can't decide which side to join. I feel a little like the last kid to get picked for dodgeball right now.
Come on, after all the ARGs that are like "It is can be save teh world teim now plz?", you can't tell me you've never wanted to be a bad guy at least once. Y'know... just to try it on

It is tempting to get my evil on. Of course the minute I choose the dark side it'll be revealed that this is some bizarro world where dark is good and light is evil...

If that arises, you can at least get your dark and morbid on. "Hey, I know! Let's kidnap the bad guys, stick them in a giant lightbulb, and burn them to death They want the light side, let's give them the light side"

What a silly idea, messing with the gorgeous dark perfection of brownies

Hey I picked the dark side for absolutely no good reason. With that being said, Toasty you should join the Dark side because any time that has me on it HAS to be the Cooler team! (small ego)

Heh, Illy more or less summed up why I went for the dark side. Except for the lightbulb thing. But he can do that if he wants, I won't stop him
I'm also surprised that this has grown to 4 pages, and we still haven't even gotten an email to start us off on the actual game

I've joined... As usual, I'm not one to really talk much unless I've got some type of input.

Since everything else I have been trying to be involved in has slowed down to the point of complete stops, I'm in.
I'm a Shadow, as everything Bartock does in dark...

how can there be a shadow in darkness? wouldn't you need some light for there to be a shadow?

Yes there would have to be some light to create a shadow. But if you have ever walked through the woods at night you know the shadows in the darkness are much creepier than shadows at noon time.
Besides it sounds cool.

yeah, but wouldn't that come into play, since they did say that light is the left hand of darkness and darkness is the right hand of light, could there be some connection to us?

Technically the darkness is the shadow. Or isn't that like asking "if a tree falls in the woods..." or is that the sound of one hand clapping...

In the nature of Yin & Yang, as epitomised by the symbol, even in the fullest part of Yin there is a little Yang, and vice versa, as represented by the dots.
Also darkness doesn't define the complete absence of light, so you can have shades of darkness, or shadows in the dark.
Are there even words for absolute dark, or light? ie defined by the complete absence of the other?

Plus, the point of a beacon is that you can see it, and you wouldn't be able to see a beacon of light unless it had some darkness to stand out against...

actually there is such a word that defines the absence of light. In color by addition; black is the term used to define the absence of light... on that note, wouldn't light require the absence of darkness for you to see it?
