 		Story Hints At Possible (Future) Stargate ARG
Just came across this article at the Stargate-related GateWorld website.

One thing they discuss in plans for an upcoming internet series called Sanctuary. The person they're interviewing mentions that the producers are really interested in either developing an ARG for the series, or incorporate some online interactive elements in conjunction with the show... (a.la. Cloverfield).

 		Speaking as a huge Stargate Fan and a Sanctuary fan...

Sanctuary is allready out and about, and it's pretty sweet. It's not actually connected story-wise to Stargate. Sanctuary For All is being made by the people who make Stargate, and it has many Stargate actors as well (plus actors from BSG, the 4400, etc.), so the confusion is understandable.

In 2007, while tracking a dangerous young man Helen crosses paths with a young psychiatric resident Dr. Will Zimmerman, played by Robin Dunne, who may have what it takes to become her new protégé.


The first couple of webisodes are free to view, the ones after that are for purchasing. They're hoping to get it off the ground as a way to actually make money off of a web-only show, allowing them to continue to make it but have less limitations in time and storytelling devices (do things that would be impossible in the normal half hour or hour long TV show segment).

They've done lots of stuff to promote it, and combine that with the fact that it seems to be the perfect story vehicle for an ARG...

Here's hoping!


(Stargate ARG would be awesome too).

So, yeah, go check out the webisodes, they're pretty sweet.

 		The free webisodes were originally made availble (and are still available) via the fan site www.sanctuaryfans.com. They have the producers blessing to make the first 4 webisodes available in low-res youtube format. However the first story arc is covered by the first 8 webisodes.

Another option is vuze who have made some kind of deal with stage3 media. Click here for the Vuze press release on sanctuaryforall.com.

I would love to see some more of the grand vision of the creators be realised.
eg the Sanctuary ARG - there is a huge amount of potential there
eg the 3d game based on the actual CG models used in the show

I would also be delighted to play a Stargate ARG, but different people would have to be behind it.
