 		[UPDATE][PUZZLE][SOLVED] Maiden Avenue Report- missing video
http://maidenavenuereport.com/ updated today with a bunch of new stuff. One of which is a video.

But click play on the video, and you get a message that it has been removed. The dead URL you get from clicking on 'get code' is: http://www.gothamcablenews.com/watch?v=0eYkc42oQyOQ.mov

Today I also noticed that GPD is hotlinking to a picture of Notaro: http://www.gothampolice.com/news.htm

The image's url is:

http://www.thegothamtimes.com/media/jlevine/public/gtp00339.jpg

So, on a whim I replaced the end of the url with the missing video's file name: http://thegothamtimes.com/media/jlevine/public/0eYkc42oQyOQ.mov

Ta-da! Video! With Maggie Gyllenhaal as Rachel Dawes!

 		Thanks! Another Maiden Ave. find that I just stumbled across is an interview that Levine (the Times reporter) did with Notaro:

I found it by playing with urls. the maiden ave report says "TIMES REPORTER LEVINE: "MEDIA PACKRAT" PREPPING EXCLUSIVE NOTAROINTERVIEW?"

Forgetting that space between words looked odd. So I tried taking the url where the Dawes movie was and putting notarointerview.mp3 at the end. Bingo!

Levine is definitely on to the Dent smear campaign, but maybe can't quite prove it yet.

It didn't work for me last night either, but I just tried it. It worked this time.

Some others were having issues with the video too, I'm not sure why either. Here it is on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XrIogWXcQA

And yeah, I probably stretched the definition of puzzle a bit, but I so rarely solve anything that I got excited Smile

how did you figure that out?

that's some good sniffing around

so do you think they shot that a long time ago while still in production or do you think it's newer?
