Ok, I asked Mr Stillwell who he was and how he was involved and got this:

Quote:
Dear Mr. Sockets

"I want that pilot. I tracked him." heh heh

Who are you? And what is your involvement with the video Mr. DJ Franco has uploaded to his site? Did he get that from you?

OK, call me a glutton for punishment, but I couldn't stand that shredded mess, so I've slowly been trying to piece it together. It's mostly straightened out, and now I'm trying to decipher what's written. So far, the word at the top looks to be 'DESAPARECIDO' (disappeared) and the third line looks to be a name, Manuela de la Cruz if I'm not mistaken. I'll see what I can do with the rest of it. Buncha numbers at the bottom.

ETA
Large numbers at the bottom look like:
957668013
657768433

ETA2
I was able to dig one more word out from above the first number - 'colaboración'

Shocked Toasty. Wow. That's dedication to the cause!

I considered printing it off and chopping it up for all of about 6 seconds, then thought; "to hell with that".

I salute you sir.

Toasty, you are out of your mind. And here I thought a 5000 piece jigsaw puzzle would be overboard for my next project... Wink

Definitely a bit time consuming, but after tackling this puzzle:
LINK
for Con08 I figured it couldn't be too much worse.

Still a bit of deciphering to do.

Nighthawk, we would lay down our disagreements and cover you with various pastries if you did that to us >_>
Jk. I'm just hungry.

And thanks, Toasty!

BTW--
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Colaboración means 'collaberation'.

I googled Manuela de la Cruz and nothing came up besides normal people's names, and I googled Manuel de la Cruz and a few things came up about an artist....

And does anyone know whether those phone numbers are North American or not? Because I'm not willing to pay for long distance if it's European or something.

If they're in the US, "957" area code is in New Mexico, and "657" area code is in Orange County, California. Both can be in Spanish, all things considered...

...but this ARG is centered in the UK. Can those be UK phone numbers? Wouldn't explain why they're in Spanish, but still...

Got a little more, though not particularly useful. Second line, last two parts are, I believe, MARZO 2008. I'm guessing on a couple of those letters/numbers where parts missing, but March 2008 would coincide with the start of this thread.

As for the two 9-digit numbers, I was guessing UK numbers as well, but the UK phone system is an enigma unto itself.
