message from Marcus.
Hey.

just got this message from Marcus.. I have to leave now or I would do some more investigating; maybe this will help you out.... did James Hutchingson also go to school with everyone.

The investigators name doesn't ring any bells nah... And well I am
majorly confused about this whole stalker thing and the victims too! Cos
like I told one other dude that Corey Western guy? His name wasn't Corey
Western. - At least it wasn't when I was in high school with him.

I went to high school with this one cat named Corey Taylor and the
lawyer guy from the news? Looks exactly like him and I remember he went off
to NY to take law then the last I heard from him, he had moved up in
the world and went to their headquarters (the law firm) in Chi-town.

So both Corey and Marcus have lived in Texas, then? (I think it says on Marcus's FB that he's originally from TX?) Do we know if Kristen has any relation to Texas at all?

The .info-website says "Close to the heart". Haven't we had hearts come up before? I think the text on the .com used to say "I told you I was serious as a heart attack"?
I have no idea if that's at all relevant, just something I noticed.

OK, so in the terminal if you type 'dir' you get
Code:
79843

Type 'help' you get:
Code:
79843
Or, you could exit

'clear' clears the screen, 'exit' closes the window and takes you to Google Maps.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
79843 is the zip for Marfa, TX.
Type 'Marfa' in and it takes you here:
http://ssendamfoedisrehtoeht.info/phone.html
New video there and SMS looks functional.

BTW, nice job pancito!

The new site is a DOS prompt. So naturally I put in "help" to get a list of commands.

It spit out:
79843
Or, you could exit.

Looks like a phone extension from my University. Lol. Exiting takes you to google maps.

"dir" also returns "79843".

Speaking of Texas (my home state!), 79843 is the zipcode for Marfa, TX - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marfa,_Texas

Marfa is home to the Marfa Lights, among other things...

EDIT: Looks like someone beat me to it... That vid could be Marco - we should warn him. Also, I wonder what the text function does - I sent myself a text, but haven't received anything yet...

For the record, looking through the Javascript there are no more commands.

This is some neat Javascript... I gotta remember this one. Smile

Anyway...an iPhone?!? This guy *is* EVIL!

FWIW it looks like the hazy icons are (l to r) clock, calculator, flash, settings.

Thanks for the files. It's pretty clear it's an older woman in the first vid. The second has some sound in the background, but I didn't catch it. What breed is the dog? What type of clue are we supposed to take from this?

We think this is the next person on the list?

The second video appears to have been removed. We probably weren't supposed to see that one, yet. Great finds, btw, pancito and MrToasty!

Too bad we don't have a number for the SMS. Do you suppose if we enter our own number we'll get a message? I'll try it...

WOW!

I've been gone for two days and all Hell breaks loose! Maybe I should stop playing so that you guys can get info in a timely manner! Laughing

Before I left on Thurs. I sent a letter to James and our killer. James responded with the same info you already have, and the killer never responded. I'll be reading now trying to catch up. BTW, I was kicking around the idea that these people could be related through the college they went to, but I couldn't get any answer from anyone to confirm or deny.

SMS does an instant redirect from ".html" to a completely blank ".php". Don't know if it's working since I tried messaging myself and got nothing, but I don't know if I was *supposed* to get anything.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
META:

It might simply be a way of the PM getting our phone numbers, the same way V.I.T.D. used a registration page to get mine.

Marfa?

I think I'm caught up. Marfa is a TINY town. Why would it be used? Any "WWF" fans??? Or should I say "WWE" now? The only thing on the surface is that it's the setting of the fictional story of Kanes origins (From WWE wrestling).
