Is it not still that weird armless woman then? I can't say I'm a fan of the things they choose to go on the plinth... the pigeon hotel one was about the only one I liked but I don't like the pigeons!

You mean Alison Lapper? I liked that one Smile Currently it's Model for a Hotel, which I like less but the wikipedia photo's nice.

And there are four lions jb1172, they're directly around the column. The fourth plinth with the changing sculptures was meant for William IV and would have matched the three other blokes on horses jobbies.

Interesting that one of the shortlisted entries for this year is an installation of concave mirrors.......

Hmmm...

Well I was hoping for more elucidation from the latest T&I. As it is it hasn't really given us much more information, but has asked us to help quite openly. I would venture that the person who was imitating the World in the mirror was one of the two owners of the mirrors (quite possibly the Tweedles) but as to how he can cheat?
I'm hoping that the next story will give us more early on, but it could be that the next missive from M-A won't appear until we've solved this...

Cheating

From the rules we have, I can't see a cheat either. The only things I can think of are:
1) Does the Magician now become important, slight of hand and all that...
2) Do we need MA to play someone else for a fool, in order to set things in motion again & release a card back into the game? ( although, according to the rules, this is not a cheat, it's just a bit sneaky)

I'm sure the next story will lead us straight to MA. I'm considering turning off the computer and staring at the blank screen for a while......

Just been looking at Dr Dee again, and found this, which I haven't come across before:
http://www.spelwerx.com/enochian.html

Interesting that words are written left to right, no?EDIT: Other way round!!

Just read the new "Story", don't see any new leads as yet, but will have another look. There's gotta be something...

Re: Cheating

Perhaps we have to furnish him with a copy of the card he needs (somehow), - maybe via Alice and the mirror - to stick up his sleeve?

Could Tweedle Dee = John Dee? (is this what you were saying, wukka?)
Who could Tweedle Dum be?

Puzzle

I think I partly solved the bunny puzzle:

I'll put in different levels of spoilers again

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The boxes are just the titles of this week's chapters. So the first one is "live online', the second is " Physical things don't matter", etc.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
We then just have to match the different boxes and figure out the code:

the black boxes (16 in total) are the letters: oncta rriww iseik i
the boxes with circles (5 in total) are: paess
the box with the circle and dot: c
the boxes with start (3 in total) are: cmo

I think the last three should be "com" so I'm assuming everthing is jumbled up.

Maybe I'm just being dumb, but I can't match up what you're saying with the spaces... though I love the theory

You shouldn't read it in the usual left to right order.

The first set is 4 boxes, with right under it 6 boxes. Those together are "live online".

Then you have a set of 4 lines: with 8 boxes, 6 boxes, 5 boxes, 6 boxes. That's "physical things don't matter"

Then a set of 4,4,4,5: "lawa don't make sense".

You have to see it as the actual pages of the book in a grid together.

Update: whohoo! you got the new website!

Whatever story we tell him, we shouldn't use the actual name of the cards. But what story do we tell?
Sad

I've emailed Alice asking if Dorcas can help.

I did too! I also asked her for a re-cap on the story she was writing, in case anything from MA has got through that way.
