Even though the Blog he posted on apparently does not have TOS similar to those here, it is clearly an OOG forum and hopefully the PM would not try to blur the line by posting IG info there. The PM has previously used that forum for OOG info such as dates of when to expect emails and such.

 		Thanks for the info. I hadn't followed that blog any at all since I know absolutely no French whatsoever.

From what I tried to read, it seems it was the Canadian gov't...although I certainly could be wrong.

Well, I am wondering if it really true. The reason why is that actually before the game even started, I found something disturbing and was going to post it here, but because of the original 2 threads not being used here I could not find it.

When I was going over the evidence before this thread started (and before the game started), I clicked on a link that someone posted. It was some link where the kill.mp3 was supposed to be. (it was the tape where someone in the background was saying kill the president). The page was not there anymore, and there was a message that the page had been shut down due to abuse and if anyone knew anything about it they were to e-mail a certain e-mail address. I wasn't about to e-mail someone about a game, so I shut the page off.

After that, I thought about it and there was nothing on the page to explain that it was a game - just a tape about kill the president. I thought oh my gosh, maybe someone found that and took it serious.

The next day, I had a keylogger on my computer that I did not put on it and I had to go out and buy $59.00 software to get it removed.

Now I don't know if the keylogger thing was a coincidence virus or what, but it was there.

So now I see this message, and I am wondering if there isn't more to it than just part of the game.

I am going to see if I can still find that link.

EDITED:
By the way, the title of this forum probably doesn't help anything. It should be called The Rivard Project Movie, with a different description, not:'kay guys? Ahem. "They're gonna... (what?)... They're gonna kill the President."

 		Okay, I am going to continue to keep an eye on this but the more I find out about this game, the more I'm thinking it's not for me. I don't know if I want to play a game that doesn't work half the time, is shut down for abuse, logs you into others' accounts, possibly puts keyloggers on your computer, and is upsetting the government. Shocked

 		Hi Cool I'm pretty sure it's all part of the game. to put us in the mood of being either secret agents for the FBI or being in the mafia in Cosa Nostra. This game is connected with a movie called The American Trap. And I think that our gouverment (Canada & American) both can figure this out. We will all have a good laugh at the end!!!

And for the virus..I went to that page and I've got nothing !!! So for me it's probably a coincidence!!!

No - I found it finally, after going through 11 pages or more.

I don't know what it had to do with, but it was in the "source code" of one of pages in game:

I don't know if it has to do with anything or just not. But yes, I had a key logger that I did not install and my computer is very new.

Edited: Maybe it was an e-mail abuse that got them in trouble - putting out e-mail with an .mp3 about kill the president.

Edited: It says: We are most interested in finding the source of this particular abuse. Please contact us if you have any details as to the client software running (browser, web crawler, other), what it was requesting, who your provider is or are willing for us to follow up with you and try to get details

What do you mean implode???

And this would be weird if the goverments would freak out about this game!!! We're not the only people looking in this and all the answers we find are available to everyone on internet or in books.

I really think it's all part of the game!!!

I say that because it seems like every game I have tried to play this month has fallen apart. I was joking, I dont think this game is in danger of Imploding at this point. I do think with the way the Blog is set up the game is in danger of losing my interest but that is something else entirely.

Maybe this is all that it is: people don't like the blog, so they made up a story why we will be getting a new forum. But I don't like talk like that (illegal, etc.). We will just have to wait and see what that new e-mail says I guess.
