 		[SPEC] Theory: Connection To Halo 2/Plot
so, im a little new to this entire www.ilovebees.com thing, i just heard about it today accutally but anyways. i was looking around the site and there are little peices of converstaions and what seemed something like journal entrys.

so heres my theory, please dont yell at me or something if you think im completely nuts or way off base:

Master chief escapes Halo in the ship, that we all see at the end of the first game. Halo blows up and master cheif starts heading home, for earth.

Master chief some how encounters a problem or problems durring the return trip and ends up somehow hurt seriously, perhaps from a battle or complications with his ship. As we see in one of the movies he jumps competely out of his spaceship down to a covenetnt ship orbiting earth.

now we know that master cheif isnt a normal solider. plus hes got cortana in his helmet. But we do know that there are others like him, or there were.

gives big story of her

in there it hints that she is capable of doing pretty much what ever she wants to. maybe she some how hurts master chief?

something within the story of this site (above) suggests to me that cortana may have been planing to use master chief

Ok so what im getting at is that cortana betrays the people she was ment to protect, and she was specificly paired with someone who, people knew from the start, would live through just about anything.

the converstation in this is NOT importaint its the connection to HALO that is

ONI: Office of Naval Inteligence
Master cheif is probly lying somewhere on a bed, after being severly hurt
Intel has sent an officer(s) to find out what happend on his mission to Halo
Master cheif may not be able to talk, or he is slipping in and out of concesness, perhaps due to something cortana has done

Is this Master Chief? listening to what is happening around him? unable to move or speak.

anyway i could go on with more on this but i think for the time being this is long enough, please post your thoughts and such

 		There is a veritable plethora of information on these boards that actually address the things you are suggesting, it wouldn't have taken much to find it, in fact there was a thread (http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4827) that should help clear things up. What also helps clear things up is when people read the "Quickstart Guide and Letter to Halo fans" (or something along those lines). Take some time, look around, search if you have to, and THEN post your question.

first off i did read "quickstart guide and letter to halo fans" before and again after posting (after you suggested i read it)

i see nothing in any of the searches ive done that share my opinion in the way of theorys of the plot. yes in the letter to halo fans it did say that most likely there will be no plot give aways but there will be similar organisations and names and so on.

quite frankly i doubt you even read all of my post and if you thought it was completely dumb, you could have said you disagreed, not calling for locking the thread

 		I think what my esteemed colleagues are trying to tell you is that before you post yet another "Everything relates directly to characters we know from Halo" spec that you read all the other similar (not identical) ones that have just as little bearing upon what is actually going on with ILB.

 		Following what Lutzie said, the end of "First Strike" shows that while MC is worse for wear, he's far from being confined to sick bay.

And while I think you may be on to something with the idea that Cortana is using Master Chief to her own ends, I don't think anything we've seen here supports that.

Above and beyond everything else, the general consensus is that this game is being played in real time (as evidenced by the counter, The Operator referring to being trapped in a primitive network, etc), so the Spartans and Cortana would be out of place.

But keep thinking, it certainly can't hurt.
