Reports from the other boards.

Most of us here are up to date on Ariadne's blog, and we're getting translations of the meat of what the other 5 have to say. What about the other 5 forums? Anybody that knows any of those languages want to post some updates on the basics of what others around the world are coming up with? Right now we seem pretty divided into our languages, and we'll probably stay that way for the most part, but I would like to know what others are finding out that we may not have yet.

I'd love to be able to report on worldwide findings on my podcast and I'm sure it would be helpful to us all to know what's going on elsewhere.

There is nothing going on in the Chinese forum and the French forum except for the characters asking for translations. The German forum is a bit more active, also the out of game forum, but I don't think they found anything earth-shattering.

Thanks Junesun. That'd kind of what my fear was. Anybody able to report on any other forums? Maybe international out of game boards similar to this one?

I am not following any of the other forums as I don't speak any of those languages. Could be stuff there that we are missing though...

Jane M. reported in an article that there were puzzles that had been solved in blogs/forums in Brazil and Argentina that hadn't been solved here...I Googled FTLR (and Trovu la Ringon Perdu) on spanish speaking sites after reading this, and didn't really find anything...just a few blogs that had a handful of pretty basic posts. So I have no idea where she's getting that information. (And if things had been solved, wouldn't they eventually show up on the IG forums?)

In the IG spanish forum the discussions are pretty lively, even if it's just about 10 players really. We make a topic for each chapter and its translation, and we have some debates about the meaning of the sacred wave forms, the relationship between Theo and Renata, the true meaning of the lost ring, world synchronization, eli's mail...

so yes, IG spanish community is quite active (and at least there are 2 of us posting here too), but I don't know of any other board for the game in spanish...

Tenchizard, if you or anyone else could write up a quick little summary of anything you guys read in the Spanish board that isn't introduced into major discussion here I'd love that, and I'm sure I'm not alone. Perhaps some of your views as to the Theo/Renata relationship? Nothing too in depth, I just feel like we need to be aware of other theories coming from different world views. That, after all, does seem to be a major theme in this experience.

Tench, MAC and I are active players in Diego's forum.
Maybe we can open a topic for each all 5 non english spoken blogs where we just post the important discussions ideas.

That is an excellent idea VictorSueiro. Next time something significant comes up, please do that.
