For all of you worrying that you've yet to recieve a text...

..what is your service provider? A majority of .com free online text services cater primarily to American citizens with the major companies (Sprint, Cingular, AT&T, etc.) If you've got an obscure carrier, or a foreign carrier, you may not be able to recieve texts.

Has a lot of pictures of the lady I guess we save. Interesting that the descriptions of the picture say "He" and not "she"

Awfully fancy Flash site for a grassroots ARG...

From all the pictures, the captions:
Quote:

-A merchant had done good business at the fair

-He had sold his wares, and lines his money-bags with gold and silver.

-Then he wanted to travel homewards, and be in his own house before nightfall.

-So he packed his trunk with the money on his horse and rode away.

-At noon he rested in a town.

-When he wanted to go farther the stable-boy brought out his horse and said, a nail is wanting, sir, in the shoe of its near hind foot.

-Let it be wanting, answered the merchant.

-The shoe will certainly stay on for the six miles I have still to go.

-I am in a hurry.

-In the afternoon, when he once more alighted and had his horse fed, the stable-boy went into the room to him and said, sir, a shoe is missing from your horse's near hind foot.

-Shall I take him to the blacksmith?

-Let it be wanting answered the man.

-The horse can very well hold out for the couple of miles which remain.

-I am in haste.

-He rode forth, but before long the horse began to limp.

-It had not limped long before it began to stumble, and it had not stumbled long before it fell down and broke its leg.

-The merchant was forced to leave the horse where it was.

-He unbuckled the trunk, took it on his back, and went home on foot.

-And there he did not arrive until quite late at night.

-And that cursed nail, said he to himself, has caused all this disaster.

-The more haste, the less speed.

Poor horsey Sad

So a merchant took his horse for a ride, but it needed a nail in its shoe, which eventually caused it to break its leg. The merchant seems quite upset with the nail. And the merchant seems in such a hurry.

Actually the shoe needed a nail and the rider ignored the need because he wanted to just go.

For what it's worth those grim captions comprise The Nail which is tale 184 from Grimm's Fairy Tales.

She shops at Walmart? Surprised

Ok sorry... Serious time.

I'm a little ticked @ the PM. But I suppose S/he's picking his texters wisely, then allowing them to forward the stuff on.

Either that or realises I'm in the UK and doesn't want to disturb me "late @ night" or something lol

Man, I feel like a creeper looking at those photos...

There's so much atmosphere on those sites you could cut it with a knife.

And this is the second Grimm-related puzzle in an ARG today, there's some sort of Rumpelstiltskin development going on at Adopt A Space Monkey. Cross-reference? Next thing you know the PMs are gonna start texting everyone twinkies...

I'm sad too, but try not to take it personally.

Still no email either. I would hope that not supplying a cell number won't exclude me. I'm just not big on giving that out, especially if I have no idea who the PM is, what their privacy terms are, or when and how often they'd be hitting me up on the phone.

Well, I got one. It's from brSPLATcamp.com. Same basic message, but here it is.
