One question... Is all the mention of uF really kosher for an ingame forum? Sorry to be a pain, I was just wondering.

Can't imagine how it'd be a sequel, but the design is definitely similar.

Right now there's no connection other than they *look* remarkably similar in their design, but it's too early to tell if there are other similarities.

For all we know, it could be related to 48HIP the same way that 48HIP was related to Cloverfield: taking story references but not directly connecting to the story.

BTW: The red hilight in this post has also been done in 48HIP.

I got a text this morning but it said to call my voicemail to check it which was strange hahaha AND I didn't have anything there so... I guess it didn't work for me.

THANKS FOR TRYING THOUGH PM! IT'S APPRECIATED Smile

Anyway I also got the email with the link, signed up.

Edit: This has a very "48 HiP" feel to it already.

Yeah the forums was very much that way and the whole theme and the cameras.

We probably shouldn't make too much mention of unFiction or the unForums on there. It's an IG site, so technically uF isn't supposed to exist there. Sort of. Instead try referring to it as "some other place" or any other creative name you can think up.

EDIT: We should also avoid mentioning ARGs or calling it a game on the IG forums. Remember, on there, "this is not a game".

Cool. I wasn't sure of that, so I just put "a certain place on the internet". Good to know for the future!

I saw that too and was like Surprised . If that's the case, then I would be willing to bet this isn't grassroots.

Okay, that's weird. Hadn't seen anything like that on facebook before...

Yep. Definitely thinking not grassroots.

I'm trying to post a bulletin about it on my myspace, but it's not working out so well right now. Frakking error messages.

Learn something new every day... Pretty much anyone can put a banner on Facebook for a minimum of $5 a day, but there's no guarantee it'll ever be seen by anyone of worth. If you're paying only $5 a day and $0.38/1000 impressions, you'll get about 15,000 impressions per day. That, in the world of Facebook, is nothing; it'll burn through that in seconds.

So I'm guessing they're dropping a reasonable budget on this in Facebook in order to be seen. There's definitely more to this then.

And, thanks PM! I'll be sure to use this Facebook advertising when I can afford it... Very Happy
