Clown, I feel your pain, but for right now we need to put it all aside and act like a team. His story is entirely plausible, so until/unless any good, solid evidence shows up for his being IG or a poser or something, we need to let it be.
Esteed, you're always so frikkin' reasonable... Gimme your babies!

Embarassed Shocked Sorry, I had to get that out of mysystem.

First time I've ever had anyone offer me babies before! Laughing

In a game like this, I think staying reasonable will be one of the keys to our success or failure. This will likely push us to our breaking points, both in the tasks and in the interactions with our fellow, stressed-out participants. And if we allow that to fracture us, divide us, then this girl will die and the blame will fall squarely on our shoulders. This is why we can't have anyone taking any side other than ours. We cannot afford to fight a war on multiple fronts, so to speak. As long as we can stay together and keep our efforts focused as a team, I think we have a chance at this.

That's my take on it, anyway.

Got a lead

Picture 11 from the zip file. I swear that building is called "Blue Elephant"
There's an art gallery called that in Fredrick, MD and an antique shop in Williamsport, IN.

I think you're quite right. As annoyed as we might get with other people involved, we have to "Play nice", as long as it will help us complete our task. So, keep being rational, Esteed, and hopefully we'll pick up on that!

What's rationality?

@ Saint Cad: I don't believe the PM wants us to attempt to locate where the patient is. Even still, the picture is kind of blurry - I was thinking it said something along the lines of "____ Delight".

Exactly what I was going to say. It's rather likely that our Doc has had a shrink at some point, whether or not he (or she? do we know for sure?) is also a doctor.

I also have no idea how to proceed. I publicized on FB but that's about it. Now to catch up in in the Hall of Judges...boy you ppl talk a lot. Razz

Or, he could not be a doctor. Last I checked, there were no medical requirements to buy security cameras, or call yourself "Doctor."

Man, I'll be honest, I have no idea how we're going to grow exponentially in a week. It is going to suck if we lose this girl on the first task. Sad

Does anyone know of any way to get a huge group of people involved all at once? I somehow doubt the local news agencies are gonna run a piece on this even if we ask really, really nicely, so that's out. Maybe placing an ad in the local papers, but again, how many people just breeze through ads in the paper? And we don't want to attract too much attention due to the potential complication of five-o mistaking this for something real, and none of us want that.

I don't know about anybody else, but I think that the picture Albany made was great. I was gonna post that around places where people are. I was also gonna see if a couple of stores at one of the malls around here would let me hang a couple of them on the door or something. Besides that, we have our FB group, and I put a bullet up on Myspace. things like that would be a good start if we can get people to commit.

I really wish I'd thought to ask the Doctor if he could give us even a ballpark on how many we had to recruit. It would help us figure out what methods we should be using. I mean, if we need another hundred-or-so people, we might have to think of something on a grander scale than myspace bulletins and facebook groups.

I know what you mean. Maybe we can pool our efforts if people are living in the same area. Have them get together and maybe find a way to do something for that area.

For the facebook group, you've made me an officer (I have no administrative powers in the group) so I can't edit anything.

It's an open group, so by the looks of things anything can be added by anyone. - I can't seem to change administration so, maybe just add stuff to the comment blogs on the wall for now?

Sorry, I leave for the airport in an hour.

I was also thinking he could have been our victims/participants doctor originally but then the whole "She knows more about me than I do her" wouldn't really make sense as he'd know pretty much every private detail about her, medically and hereditory (sp?) at least.

Good luck guys and girls! I will try and check in from time to time from the hotels net connection but no promises!

wow! this thread exploded while i was at work.

I was thinking that the first task is more a waiting game. There is a set number of participants that PM wants before starting. So the task to spread the word is, to put is crudely, a cost saving exercise. What i mean is, i am not sure we are expected to really go overboard.

Does that make sense?
