Hmm, does anyone know how much you get (if anything) per click on the Facebook/MySpace banner ads?

Haha! If only we had Bill Adama, this girl would be safe right now. Him and his 'stache could save her in no time.

I think it's really super lame how the PMs are going about recruiting, but that's just my opinion.

They shouldn't be so lazy and just recruit people themselves.

I sincerely doubt we'll actually fail if we fail to reach the number the Doctor has set. Given that this game looks to be kind of intense, I'm guessing this is their way of testing us to see how dedicated we are to this. I think what counts more is that we work hard to try and recruit people. I mean, the last thing they need is for everybody to be pretty relaxed about it and then flee when things get heated.

I could be wrong though.

EDIT: is it bad form to recruit for games in other games' forums? (or in Various and Sundry forums Wink )

(Don't be intimidated by the page count, doesn't start till 5/1-ish, but it wants more players right now)

Conversely If you want to have fun while you are doing the PM's work for them...

Pastry Wars!

Don't be intimidated by the page count... There's a wiki.

I think the Doctor is reading this thread. New post in the Sanctuary of Ethics.

The Doctor wrote:
I'm aware you believe this is a game. And I'm aware you think I'm forcing "you" to drum up "business".

I'm simply trying to be helpful. Without the numbers, the tasks that follow will simply not be possible. Either way, I remain objective. If you fail at the beginning, it only confirms my assumptions about humanity.

Regardless, I'm a happy to record the results.

Doc.

game vs. experiment

I am just curious - how do we know that this isn't a real social psycology study or experiment instead of a game? Personally, I took a high level social psycology class and learned about studies, and that sometimes students in the field don't necessarily tell thleir subjects they are in it. That brought up the question of ethics in our class and it came out that if the study doesn't hurt anyone and it is on public land you don't have to tell. That is why I was just wondering. Will take a look at it though - it sounds interesting.

not if he doesn't really do it, but only makes it appear he's done it to us... I learned about those studies too... I'm absolutely sure its a game though, it was a legit trailhead email, with codes...
