EDITED: When Clover is attacked by the CNN building by the jets overhead, you hear his natural roar, then you hear the Lost smokey monster roar. It's when they are tyring to cross back to the stable building.

 		Yeah, I felt it was necessary to clarify it up and make a headline out of it as Cloverfield was the primary reason I watched Lost. The dharma symbol and the awesomeness of MGP made me want more, so I started watching LOST. Too bad for LOST. Now I don't have to watch it anymore.

 		i am sure no one will like this post but

jj does not really run everything in the universe
so maybe he is telling the truth maybe not but it would have to go through alot of people to just throw it in there if there is no connection fine but why was it also in the new contest vid...
sorry i just dont really believe anything he says he also said there would be no time travel in lost

OK, we are officially completely OT, but one could argue that what is happening in Lost is not time travel at all. So there.

If that was a knock at me and my thread, I was only hypothesizing. The inclusion of the Dharma logo did beg for some speculation. I too didn't want there to be a connection, but it was something that had to be addressed nonetheless.

I think he was mentioning all of those who were LOST fans before watching Cloverfield and tried to find the tiniest connection, even though there never was one.

In my case, the fact the LOST stuff popped up in Cloverfield made me watch LOST to see if there was a connection. Over time I realized there wasn't but became a fan of the show (Ya gotta admit, the storytelling rocks.)
