Maybe its just me but at this point i think speculation and such should be discussed elsewhere and not on the forum "DOC" has set up, although its obvious he reads this as well i just think we should at least seem behind him on his own forums no matter what we think of him at the moment.

You can't kill a twinkie. Those things can last 120 years! No action required, case dismissed.

I have a question..if I get some people from a college to sign up, will they all have the same IP?

Possibly. Depends how the college network is configured; if they all come through the same router, sure.

Then again, 90% of AOL users appear to be in Virginia, so I hardly think it matters.

I recruited three people. Hurray for me. I still don't think we're gonna get 400. But hey, I guess it's fun to try. I agree with others that this might just be a test of dedication and he could still do the experiment even if we don't reach the numbers. Honestly, I don't want to read a forum were 400 people are posting. That's going to get a little crazy and I don't have the time to catch up on 20 extra pages everyday.

Same here. I barely have time to catch up on everything now, and nothing has really started yet.

According to the member list we are 1/4th of the way to our goal. I really honestly think we can churn out 300 more sign ups before the deadline. But maybe that's me being unusually optimistic today. Ask me tomorrow and I might say something completely different. Confused

Damn straight.
You can, on the other hand, kill a Ho Ho.

I wrote a bunch of stuff on the blackboards about hurtstoheal. Hopefully some of them will join.

With all of this twinkie talk, you guys literally made my girlfriend leave to go buy some twinkies.

It's ludicrous to get 400 people for an ARG based forum like that. It's so disorganized, the time span is limited, it's just absolutely unrealistic.

Faeryqueen21 pretty much said exactly what I've been thinking all along. This recruitment crap may just be an experiment to test how dedicated we are to saving this woman's life. If we reach 400, then we're completely holy people with awesome consciences.

I'm afraid that if the above is true, the Doc is gonna be severely disappointed.

He doesn't seem very organized for a non-grassroots ARG.

I went to the gallery and i can't find the photo that was most recently destegd. I was wondering if some one can post the pics past the black and white ones. The girl's close up, the wall paper, and I guess the new one he posted... or maybe there is another place he's posting them...

I still think there is something we are missing in those original photos. Is there anyway to get alot of traffic through the myspace page I started?

Thx in advance Smile Amber

Amber, the one that opened with Camouflage is the hurtstoheal front page image (clock/chains/room).

Sorry for the absence I was commuting home. Yes, I used Camo to de-steg the image.

From the message I get the impression that it's not going to be an "electricution" to the death, just an unpleasant shock to prove Doc is serious.

Also, I agree with what folks have said about doing all the leg work for recruiting, but you have to admit, it is certainly provoking a response and maybe even increasing the tension of the game Smile

My one friend I thought might be interested said it "sounded fishy" so he's not joining, lol. I will add your MySpace page and start pimping it out.

Or we could be heartless bastards that enjoy selling tickets to watch a train wreck. Wink

I think, if we had more time, we could pull this off. Not only do we not have enough time to begin with, we're now going to be losing time for every day we don't meet fifty new recruits. This is going to more or less destroy our chances of success at Task #1, unless the entire point was in fact not to recruit a ton of people, but to measure the dedication of the people he already has.

@Tresbien I never go to the main page...I have forums linked Smile Thank you for telling me

@ Jain thanks for the pimping Smile lol

Do you think it would be ok to post a link IG to the myspace page?

And yes people love train wreck situations... but if it gets people to sign up then it is an ends to the means situation.

Esteed my friend I believe you have hit the head on the nail....
