Just discovered I have a stopwatch app on my cell phone!

Yeah, T has one on his cell phone too, but I do not. What a rip, I say.

Neither does mine, but I like to keep mine low-frills. I once had a roommate who liked to make us pay for leaving cell phones with cameras lying around. He's gone now, so I finally have a camera, but I'm still somewhat paranoid.

I keep mine low-frills too, but only because I HAVE a camera--I don't need no stinkin' junky camera phone. T's is low-frills too, except for the fancy-pants stopwatch.

Also,

LONG TIME NO SEE!

See you Sunday! Woo!

Good runs today guys! I loved coming out and meeting all of you. Can't wait for the next session.

I put up my pictures from today. They're mostly of our half of the group's training on the 3-circuit labyrinth, so no pictures from the 7-circuit or from the other side! I tried to get rid of duplicates and photos where it was just backs of people, and hopefully I didn't catch any unflattering shots of anyone. If I did, I am willing to negotiate their removal. Very Happy

EDIT: I went back to add notes identifying fellow finders of the lost ring. There are probably some I've missed, so send me a PM or something if so!

Today's runs were great fun!

We had plans to meet up with my brother in town later that afternoon, so pretty much left after the spectacular fast 7-circuit run... did any other fun or other runs commence afterward?

The event isn't listed on the Ariadne's main upcoming.yahoo.com page for training labyrinths anymore, but it still exists.

http://upcoming.yahoo.com/event/468265/

If you tag your photos with "upcoming:event=468265" they will show up on that page.

BUMP

We want to have another Training Event, this time in the East Bay, on May 3. We are still looking into possible locations for it.

This is (hopefully) going to be a synchronized event with New Zealand and anywhere else that is interested!

Aw, May 3 is bad for me. Perhaps we could postpone it a week and do a larger synchronization?

Also we could do it at Willard Park.

Apparently, May 10/11 is bad for a lot of people because of Mother's Day.

Someone wasn't wild about Willard Park, but I forgot why, if I ever knew. But maybe.

The New Zealand contingent are so keen for a simultaneous Labyrinth Training Session, but will have trouble getting a group together in the weekend prior to 11am - which would make it 4pm in San Francisco...

How does that sound? Will that work for you folk?

The 4th of May is actually my 30th Birthday Shocked and I've been planning on working a Labyrinth Run into the proceedings. I'll need to know asap if we want to go ahead with a Simul-Train so that I can arrange invites etc (otherwise we were going to do our training late afternoon).

If not next weekend, then maybe the one after Mother's day? That would make it 17/18 May?

It appears that calling the USA on our mobile network is only 49c a minute, so we could even co-ordinate run start times, etc!

Ah, this is true. However, if we do it at 4 as out good friend Judkins said, I can totally do it. I just have a performance gig at the Oakland Zoo at 1, so 2 is kinda tough. It can't be more than two hours long so I can totally be there before 4 to help set up. Or I'll get there right at 4 and can run it. We're clear there. I'll tell all my friends who couldn't make it last time!
