Café Mo da TACSUM
Kokufu-ichiba 11-1, Okayama - Map
Open: 13:00-24:00 (This info might be old.) (12-22?)
Photos: here , here and here
It is written that the owners frequently visit Malta and the menu showed the prices in Malta Lira (!). The name TACSUM is the reverse read of MUSCUT, which is a very popular name in Malta. They seem to speak English fluently.
So far epics says he will go to TACSUM on Saturday if nobody goes.
(He is fairly far from Okayama)

Is he the only one on Noriko's forum who's available? (What's the activity like over there?)

Yes, he is the only one, so far. But he would have to pay more than $100 for tickets. I think some might join ... anyway now most people are working or at school in Japan, so until night we can't tell how many.
Noriko's forum has become much more active than used to be, because an article about ARG, FTLR etc. appeared at Yahoo three days ago, and a lot of newcomers joined. But Okayama is fairly local, so Noriko is also worried in her twitter.

Maybe if 100 players contributed a dollar each, it could work?

Yes I saw a similar case in Antagata, a pervasive game series in Japan, where a man wrote his bank account number in the thread and got tens of dollars and made pickup.

such timing! Have just came back from Kamsai / Shikoku after being there for 3 weeks, eagerly waiting the chance. Now, on the day after I leave, it crops up!

The pickup at Okayama might not be made on Saturday. Now the people at Noriko's forum are trying to arrange things so that more than one can go to Okayama.

Thank you for your kindness.
The current situation is:
another person will be available on Tuesday (it's a national holiday).
So epics is planning to wait until Tuesday unless closer pickuppers appear.

Double post
Now a person who lives much closer than epics (but still two hours away) has made a post at Noriko's forum and says he/she might be able to go for pickup this evening.

Triple post
The person (nagi) left for Okayama. She'll arrive about 6pm JST.
She'll let us know her situation here (in Japanese).
