You that ask about the necklace of my ancestor, I would like to answer here.

A very long time ago, my family told the story of my ancestor that was killed by the Persians. He had a wife that lived and she was a very intelligent woman.

From the time she was a little girl, Gorgo has deep insight into people. When she was a baby, her father Cleomenes was asked by Aristagoras to join the Persians fighting against the Ionians. Little Gorgo told her father to send the man away as she did not trust this man to not bring bad luck to her father.

Many peoples have written of Gorgo and you can find their stories on the internet. But the story that my family tells is of the last time Gorgo is chronicled in history: After her husband Leonidas and his soldiers are killed in Thermopylae, Gorgo finds a hidden message on a plate that is sent to the Spartan Generals, who could not understand it. Gorgo looked at the plate and told them that to remove the wax, they would have the message.

This is where most of the story ends. My family say that it did not end there. That Gorgo was badly treated by the Generals of that time. They did not want to battle to avenge the dead soldiers, Gorgo's husband. They had been told by Oracles that Xerxes of Persia would kill everyone of the Spartan peoples, if they let warriors leave Sparta.

My family tells that Gorgo went out alone to slay Xerxes of Persia. She travels far and she kills the snake Xerxes. This is the story of my peoples.

Now I do not know where the necklace is. I believed the journal of my ancestor that say he has held this necklace in his hand. But I hear from my father that it is lost with Gorgo. It was his wish that it return to my family, the heirs that should have it.

Some say the necklace is cursed. Some say it is only a necklace. Some say it is is valuable. None of this matters to my family. We want to touch the necklace that connects us to our ancestors.

I have received information that I believe says that I will not find the necklace here. That it is not anymore with Gorgo. That my grandfather of 100 years ago speaks the truth. I will not leave Bobbie and the others alone, I want my ancestor returned to her home, Ελλάδα. But for now, I must see if this person has truth. She will meet me in Altay, Kazakhstan. I will hope to return to Kyzyk tomorrow to meet Bobbie, and with information.

 		Well, I tried asking askoracle more about VGLLC and this is what I got:

3:12 PM Okay. She plans on leaving everything that Chance put on the site up, and sends her best and many thanks to you and your associates. I eplained that you may be able to get information on the backers and she wants to know what's going on with that. She's laughing about the Olympics line. Smile
3:13 PM She also suggested that I not accept any campers at this time, She'll get back to me on that later. At least it's a slow time for signn ups anywy.
She still has no idea where Kronos is, and isn't happy about the news you just gave me.
3:15 PM me: tell her he is supposed to be meeting with someone today, and has intentions of meeting with her later with the information he gets from his source
his source is meeting him in Altay
3:19 PM hopesummercamp: Altay? Not Altai?
me: Altay, Kazakhstan...according to his blog post
3:20 PM hopesummercamp: super... so he's bout a two day trek from where she is....


Another edit: Fee mentioned the email that was set up with Kronos' name a couple of times, so I shot out a short email just to see what kind of response I would get. I also haven't heard back from the one I sent to Chance yesterday.

I got an email back from Chance. I had asked him about his "backers" for the expedition and told him that I was concerned for Bobbie and Fee's safety:

buddy L.C. to stop sending me coded emails too. My email program hangs up
each and every time I get that crap.

Kronos is a minor annoyance, and he will not get that necklace. Bobbie
isn't going to give it to anyone but a museum if she has her way, but I
can't let her have her way. If she fights me on that, then she might be in
danger, but that's a whole other story.

I've been to the VG offices and they have a warehouse full of diapers,
plastic wrap and toilet paper for heaven sakes. It's not like they are
some al'Kaida operatives or something. Q is a scientist and works in
plastics and stuff.

I was contacted by them while I was at Hope Ranch last year, and they want
the piece for their shipping tycoon boss that collects this stuff. He runs
import/export for a lot of things, and is about as rich as Onasis. Problem
is that like most people, those that have money don't have time and
vis-versa.

Calm yourself down Fella. I may not like the way Bobbie is acting, but I
wouldn't put her or Fee in harm's way on purpose. As much as I'd like to
slap Fee from time to time, I don't wish her any harm, and I've never hurt
a woman n my life, so why would I start now?

At this point, however, I don't know who or what to believe, but I'm not willing to take any chances with anyone's safety....including yours.

What I find the most interesting is the way he signs his email ending: Regards, Chance. It's the exact same way (with a different name) as the ending of the Kronos email from the Hope Ranch email acct. That leads me to believe that Chance is masquerading as Kronos on that account for some reason.

Am I talking to myself here?? lol
Lots of updates over the past day or so. Kronos' blog has been updated. Bobbie's new online journal is now accessible on the Hope Ranch website. I also have received an email from the "fake" Kronos.

It's hard not to worry about Bobbie, seeing that she is half a world away right now. I wouldn't think she would be in any danger from you, but the circumstances you are both in are somewhat dangerous themselves. Remote area, foreign country, no reliable communications in the field, Κινεζικοί στρατιώτες....the list goes on and on.

As far as VGLLC, I have been assured by Chance Thompson that they are merely funding the expedition, wanting to find an artifact to present to the owner of the company. Chance should know, seeing that he's the one who secured the finances for this expedition. I'm sure he wouldn't knowingly send Bobbie into a dangerous situation. That would just be very selfish and reckless. If something like that would happen, surely he would be smart enough to know that he could very well be the next one they came after. But I digress, I'm sure all is fine with VGLLC, Bobbie, Chance, and yourself.

Best of luck finding what you are searching for......although I do believe it will be hard to find.

That absolutely doesn't sound like the obsessed-with-a-necklace Kronos. I've responded to all the emails I've received and am waiting to hear back from them.

Fee also told me that this expedition would cost somewhere in the vicinity of $1 million. Shocked

 		I'm certain it's the PM.

I think the email was set up in order for Chance (or someone from VGLLC) to impersonate Kronos to either get information from us that they don't have, or use it to impersonate Kronos in the event that they have him meet with an "unfortunate accident". That way they could kill him, but it would still appear that he's still alive and well since he's still communicating through the email address.

What really tipped me off that it wasn't really Kronos was the fact that Bobbie herself said that she didn't set up the account and that Chance did, but in his first email to me from that account, he said that Bobbie set up the account for him. I'm pretending like I really think it is Kronos and am trying to get more info that way.

 		You don't watch this stuff for the acting.
Special effects look pretty intense for an adult film. There have been some very high budget films lately. Like Pirates and Manhunters. Let's see what this one looks like...meanwhile, konashark wouldn't mind some swag while he's over in Afghanistan.

 		LOL...well, even though the trailer is *ahem* interesting, so far the game has been pretty good and all of the NPC's have been highly interactive. This is probably my favorite game going on right now. It will definitely hold me over until a couple more games start up that I've been looking forward to..... Wink

I got an email from the "oracle". I had asked her to give me some more information on "Q", whom Chance had mentioned and works for VGLLC. Here's the response:
