By all means, link them here. I think we shouldn't bombard every random Twitter user with questions and accusations, though - we should try to analyze them, is all, and see if we can decide if one might really be an in game account.

Seems like a good time to mention I'm now in this experiment too. Signed up earlier today and just finished reading this thread. I'll browse through the HTH site in a little bit to catch the gist of the forum subjects. I'm new here, and I don't have all the social norms down yet, so if I seem to trip over my feet that's probably the reason. Intro aside...

In mainstream art, a single lit candle represents God, although in this particular picture I'm not sure "God" is the intentional meaning. The artist could have just been making a creepy painting showing a room with a small amount of light.

that push, rest, push, push, push stuff reminds me of lamaze classes. Did I spell "lamaze" correctly?

Welcome Ace and thanks for the info about the single candle. I also found this page, http://www.luckymojo.com/candlemagic.html, which says a red candle is used for love spells.

so the more i think about this game the more it kinda disturbs me... we better end up rescuing her or something, or i might suffer long term duress/damage.

The love spells thing might make sense in the context of the 'angry ex' thing...

Edited to add that I just said 'thing' a lot.

Well, the candle could also represent a light in the dark...the candle on the hill, if you will.

And he said that she hadn't done anything to hurt him, so I don't think he's an angry ex.

Sorry, don't mean to interrupt the train of thought going on here.
I just wanted to mention that after my original hatred of the recruiting thing, I'm back in due to the references to 48 Hours in Purgatory.

Has anyone set up a wiki or a "What's happened so far" to let me and other returnees or newbies what's gone on?

lamaze teaches natural childbirth methods, they don't tell women when to push. For the typical hospital birth situation the chant is generally "PUSH 1, 2, 3, 4, 5" They count, they don't say "push push push".

Has the fact that the picture looks like an attic room been brought up yet?

I don't think the love spell thing holds much weight. I doubt very much that a man this dedicated to science believes in magic. Then again, he made a comment about god in the Clinic that implied he was a believer. So who knows?

I thought we established that the guy in the clinic wasn't the real Doc?
