 		speaking of the battle roster, i had signed up a while ago for the dark side (which, i know, doesn't help our numbers at this point) and was wondering who i should tell to put me on there

For anyone wondering, the names in the roster are organized by join time, from oldest to newest. Join time is defined by a player's first post in either of the BoL/SiD threads, regardless of declared allegiance.

Looking at that, I'm really impressed at how fast the roster's growing. I joined about 24 hours ago and there are already seven more Beacons, not even counting the Shadows and Unconfirmeds.
This is gonna be good.

I'm kinda hoping it goes that way. See natas's post, too. One of the themes in LHoD was that it takes all kinds to make a world. And I agree that the source stuff kind of points in that direction...

@Omega> I posted a request in the PW thread that everybody announce here from now on. If it's easier on you, you could just do this on the wiki...

Changing subjects, I'd like to know if we can spec about the "storyline" we'll find in the game when it launches (trying to keep it a bit serious, of course). We are all assuming it's a good vs evil thing, but, who knows, it could be anything (even a yacht). Right now, having shadows of darkness, they could be even ninjas versus angels or something like that... wich would make it even more bizarre than pastry wars...

Spec: Are you asking allowed or able to? We don't have a lot to go on except the signup page and Darklight's interest in animal husbandry, but "Yourself out knock." (What's the sci-fi equivalent of interwebs? You'd get tons. Years before Yoda. Smile )

Angels? I'd go for Cowboys/girls. Hey! That even ties in with waiting for the Yak to give birth... How do you say Cowboy in Mongolian?

Yes, I was asking for permission, actually... We don't want to start PWII with PWI still going on...

By the way, internet says cowboy is їхэрчин, малчин or something like that, but don't even ask me how do you read ir, or if it's true.
