Quick question - Is it OK to mail them flat in an envelope (all folded, but just needing to have their wings pulled slightly apart)?
Flat in an envelope is fine

I'm off to the post office shortly to mail 50. You should hopefully have them, by Wednesday.

Brian & I are going to over night them wenesday... But i have an odd sorta question - am i supposed to write a well wish on each crane, or just one crane? I considered writing out well wishes in code... but i'll be kinder and use english.

People have been doing it both ways. It's up to you, really.

Brian is on his way to the post office right now to over night ours. I don't know how many he folded... i did exactly ONE and i see it sitting right here on the coffe table... poor thing didn't come out right.... I'm rubbish at it. When i was in 3rd grade, i ran a seminar on origami for the whole school at a culture fair.... i used to be so good at it. 20 some years later, can't fold worth anything. luckily i have a hubby who adores it, and was willing to fold some in his spare time last night between homework and mario cart wii.

Best wishes for Dave. I hope the treatment goes as smoothly as possible.

It's weird... after so many, you start to get in some kind of zen meditation zone.

Hey guys! I know the majority of you dont know me because im relatively new to posting here, but i still really do just want to come on and give my best to Dave and his family. I know how it feels to have something like this happen, and i will keep both Dave and his loved ones in my thoughts and prayers. I do not know Dave, but that really doesn't matter very much. He is loved by many people from what i can see in here, and i just wanted to come on and say that i really do wish for the best for you guys' friend. Dave, if your reading this man, I hope you bounce back from this, and have a speedy recovery. My prayers are with you man. Take care of yourself

Just wanted to let Dave know that he's in my prayers and thoughts. I've been folding cranes, but not enough to send them off quite yet. I know that I'm a little late on this, but I hope to send the cranes this weekend.

I hope, my crane is arrived and is now streaming health and energy to Dave.
How is Dave? How is his health? Please, drop a message somebody, who is near of him.

I've been totally unable to fold some cranes, because I totally suck. But I'm hoping for some news of Dave's condition as well.
Dave, if you're reading this, you're definitely in our thoughts and prayers.

Dave is still in the hospital and he's having good and bad days, but the well wishes mean a lot to him. He's got net access but is not able to post much, so I wouldn't be surprised if he's lurking around here and there every once in a while.
