Has anyone made copies of any of the puzzle pages? I'm trying to work through these but can't get back to pages I've already seen. For instance the page with the "shards" link on it that led to the weights thing which seems to have been solved without being solved.

That's about where I've left it. I can click on the spoiler links but that doesn't help me understand how we got to them.

I am getting very lost.

I haven't solved up to where everyone else is, I'll see if I can find copies of them. I'll try to load them up here, if possible.

If I've got the energy (no promises), I'll try to snag an old wiki and see if I can doctor it for our purposes.

Shards and weight puzzle

Okay, as promised, here are the puzzles for shards and the following weights puzzles. The first is an html page, hopefully it makes it intact. If it doesn't, I'll try to make a PDF out of it and retain the shards link.

Weights puzzle official solve

I actually did the solve before I looked at what you had here, so here it is in all of its glory. I even prettied it up after cutting and pasting in PhotoShop.

I'm including the file, actually, not because I'm tooting my own horn, but so that those who weren't in on the solve will know what it was. (Just a note: The one confusing thing about the puzzle is that both X and N have the same value.) If I do manage to get the wiki up, I will move the solve to there so it can be spoilered.

EDIT: It IS early in the morning, so it only just occurred to me that I could ZIP the file and it would not reveal the solution until you downloaded it. I'll still move it to the wiki when possible, but here it is for now.

Minor edits for clarity.

Not yet. But I'm working on it. I'm trying to get current on solves so I'm at least a little caught up with all of you, and then I'll pull one together from one that I've worked on and liked particularly well. Partly because the spoilered source code is already in it. I hope to have something up within the next day or two, and then we can all start adding stuff to it. I'll try my best to keep it current myself, too.

The next one is pretty easy to just guess (though man, I'm feeling shades of House of Leaves with Wendy's creepy poltergeist).

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Though I have no idea who this Sam Skinery is that Polyakov mentions. Did I miss a video?

I don't think anyone's answered this yet. Sam Skinery is mentioned in the original YouTube video that was mentioned in emails that some people received at the beginning. You can find the video here. It's actually really an audio file with just The Sky Remains logo.

Also, don't miss The Sky Remains Channel on YouTube, to which you can subscribe if you have an account there. (You can register free, if you don't know that.) You can find the channel here.

Wiki

Hey Pied Piper, how's the wiki coming? I didn't get more word on it, so I've been compiling a rough template via the usual wikidot site. Lemme know something.

Didn't even know about an IRC channel. I hope I'm not missing anything there.

Should have more info (hopefully a website setup) by tomorrow's end, at the latest.

For some reason the 404 page for Part 3 of Case one seems to not be working for me...It's a real 404.

What did it say for the start, and 1st and 2nd part of Case One?

I just noticed something on the main page for the game that should help you with this. There's an "ARCHIVES" link on the home page when you have logged in. There, you can replay any video or whatever that you've already viewed.

The game PMs for this are VERY savvy, I tell ya.

I just found that which is awesome. Go PMs.
