[GAME] Licorice Media's "Harmonise"

I'm on their mailing list, but nowhere near Bristol, so I thought I'd mention this here.

http://www.harmonise-game.co.uk/

Live team competition in Bristol, UK on May 17th-19th.

From the "signup" page:

Quote:
Harmonise is free to play, it will take you about an Hour to experience.

You will need a team of between two players and 4 players.

Please do not sign up if you are not able to get to the Watershed in Bristol UK for an hour between the 17th and 19th of May 2008.

We will try our best to offer you a game slot near your requested time and date, if not possible or if already booked we will contact you with an alternative slot.

We only have a limited capacity across 3 days, so game slots are offered on a fist come first served basis, sign up early to ensure your team gets to play!

This site will be updated by the 15th of May with final details of the time and dates that each team will play on.

From the "about" page:

Quote:
Harmonise is a site specific collaborative team game.

Players Join Team Z and in teams of two or more work together to solve the game.

One player takes the role of the seeker, armed with a PDA and two way radio they play outside on the streets of Bristol. The other members of the team work together using a large screen installation set up in the Watershed. This screen shows an interactive map of the Bristol city center, highlighting goals and obstacles that they must direct the seeker to. The seeker can not see these obstacles, so communication is vital to success. The team must work together in a race against the clock, harmonising their virtual and physical actions to overcome the challenges of the environment. Once the time is up, the team's score is recorded and posted to an online league table for all to see.

*EDIT*
Edited 'cause silly Brits can't spell "harmonize"... Wink

Location: Some house I found. The people in it are really annoying.

I just got an email from them, too, just now.. lol I live in the US, though.

The email advertised it as another product of "ours" I might be interested in, so I think it's Licorice who's behind Sky Remains, as well (the other British game I'm involved in)

They will be giving you equipment for the game, so no need to own your own HP product here.
