I have heard this song several times now, and I must concede, it is absolutely extravagant! As far as most modern monster movies go, especially American ones, the scores are never too great and all too often an overrated form of rap/rock that hardly fits the movie's style or theme. I first heard the score in the theater during the credits, and I was so intrigued by it, I had to stay the through the entire thing. That and the fact that I was expecting an after-credits scene from a genius like Abrams, of course Laughing

ROAR! was apparently inspired by Akira Ifukube, another of my favorite composers. I was almost certain it was his work upon hearing it!
