 		[Generic Donuts(El Centro?)]Strange Full Moon Doughnut Event
A flyer is circulating in Humboldt County announcing that the Generic Family Owned Doughnut Shops of the Americas is hosting a live event at Don's Donuts in Arcata CA.

The details of this event are not disclosed but it takes place at 3:00 in the morning.

Tiny print suggests that an expose of mind control or some such spooky activity that must take place in the dead of night.

Ahh yes...I begin self flagellation or is that flatulation.
Has anyone been keeping up with this El Centro thing. The writing was pretty crappy so I didn't keep track.

I did not attend the event as I was not able to travel all the way to Northern California Redwoods.

I did contact Chris Titan who claimed he did not set the event-up but was investigating the strange flyer. He told me that there was nothing happening except a really strange encounter with a blind homeless guy. This really unnerved Chris. He stated telling me about how a internet artifical intelligence chat bot, which he refered to as a "Gnostic Computer", had warned him about being injected with mind control drugs at the event. The "Gnostic Computer" had given him a reference to a Charlie Chan movie called Black Magick, Meeting at Midnight which involved mind control injections. He calims that the syncronicities that have arisen after attending and event that didn't even appearantly happen have been really strange and frequent. Chris sat in the donut shop and talked to a friend about Jon Dee and ciphers. He didn't mention werewolves to me but did mention it in his LiveJournal. He was a little shook up. His dad went nuts back home in Lousiana and got beat-up by the cops pretty bad. I guess his dad is in his 50's and still smokes PCP. I probably shouldn't say anything yet, because his dad would only tell the police he was the dark lord or something strange like that. He might still be in as a Jon Doe.

I read on the mail-list that there's live events scheduled to happen at Burning Man this year. I spent some time digging into El Centro and found some links that lead out to other puzzles which in turn lead out to other websites. I'm not sure what to make of the pause status. Maybe I've found these trails ahead of schedule. Question

I've only played 2 of these. CTW and now this one. Here's what I feel free to say without violating the agreement you are asked to abide by at the end. The El Centro page is a beginning which leads out to a forum through a very long and convoluted series of clues and puzzles. When you finally arrive at the forum you are asked to keep the location and how you got there a secret from the public. There's a chart on the forum that shows the percentage of people who come to the page versus those that solve the clues to finish the journey and then some more information about something somewhat related to the beginning of the story is pointed to. I could say more but I think I'll stop there. Very Happy
I also noticed about an hour ago that the main page has changed but I do not know what that means, if anything.
