I really like the Fresh Start suggestion because, hopefully, that's what she'll get. Another thought is just the simple "For Tia". Though I also like the idea of "Tia's _____" It seems to give someone that donates or helps out a sort of title or a sense of ownership. "I'm Tia's _____."

Not that I would ever assume to know how Tia is feeling, as someone who lost their father at an early age, I would steer clear of "Tia's Angels". My dad was my angel, not his friends who did a number of things to support me and provide some sense of a father figure for me as I grew up. I don't know that Tia will feel similarly as she grows up, but she may.

Any news on how they're all coping? They are all still, most definitely, in my thoughts.

Coping...

Well, I guess we all are.

I'm kind of separated from the rest of my family at the moment, and it's driving me slowly insane...some of my dreams lately...well I'll not go into that. I'm coping. Wink

Tia is doing well, to the best of my knowledge. I try to talk to her every day, and I'm planning my trip back to Florida as we speak.

The rest of the family is doing well. My younger brother just found out that he will be a father for the 2nd time. YAY!!!

I'll keep you all up to date as this progresses, but we're talking to ABC at the moment. They want to do a story on my brother and sister, and I've agreed to do whatever they need, in order to keep this in the public eye. We're keeping Tia away from the press for obvious reasons, but as long as it will help her I'lll do whatever is necessary.

Thankyou all again for your concern and kind words, and most of all for the time you have given to help my family. And if you need anything from me just let me know. I have no compunction about giving my number to the BeeKeepers.

My thoughts on the name for the organization that Rose and Incit are forming goes something like this: I'm a huge fan of multiple meanings and many faceted things, and I also think that the name should reflect upon us as a community. My 1st and only idea is something along the lines of The Janisarry Corps. or Tia's Janisarries... I know it's a bit hokey...mostly to us, but since it will be a standing army of sorts, and is for a little girl that should be wary of the brain ninjas I feel that it could fit.

Make no mistake about it, if any of you participate in this you will be guarding a special child. You are helping give her protection. Many of you already have.

But name it whatever you all want, you're a clever bunch.

I'll check back soon.

Hope you all are well.

Good to hear that she's doing well. She's fortunate to have such a caring uncle. I hope that you can get back there soon. It will do you all good to see each other.

How exciting! Congrats!

btw, chamomile is great for peaceful sleep. Try a cup of chamomile tea before bed. Lavendar isn't bad either, but I'm not particularly fond of the scent. If it doesn't bother you, try putting some by your nightstand. Sometimes it's the craziest little things that help.

Take care of yourself and keep us posted on whatever happens with ABC or if you all have any specific needs.

I am not sure I would say Tia's Foundation, as it isn't technically a foundation yet.

I agree with imbri's points as well.

I hope this is helpful, what about:

The Friends of Tia Fund?

I have closed down the paypal link on ARGN, since donations have died down, and will be forwarding a check for the full amount received from the ARG community in the amount of $1,658.28 USD to the Tia Hernlan Education Fund.

The family wishes to convey their heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed.

Took some time, my cell phone is back up and running.
I also started a poll as many of you must have noticed at the top of this thread.

Furthermore, Progress has been made at the prototype sector of the charity. Under a temporary name, I have aquired gift certificates from JC Pennies and a local Ruby Tuesdays and a pair of movie tickets from Lowes theaters all for raffel. I have also obtained clearence to hold a Coin Drop event at the center of the local mall (Galleria at Crystal Run, Middletown NY)
On the radio front, My contacts are working their magic, and i will begin calling the "names to call" to arrange for Air time and publicity for the events and the charity.

Of course once the semester ends this thursday I can devote more of my time to the project, for now this is what I have been able to manage.

Contact information for the project has also been updated on the front page, aswell as a more consolidated posting to make things easier for those wanting to sign up.

Yes, I will indeed.
Closing down the operation in Orange County saddly short of my time reservation at the galleria mall, I am following up on offers towards the cahrity and preparing to reinstate "Fresh Start" at Lakeline Mall at Cedar Park near Austin TX.

Unfortunatly, I'm not entirly sure how national the organization can extend at the current point in time, haveing few people able to jump on board.

Rest assured I'll keep everyone updated on the efforts of Fresh Start and How Tia and Ouroboros are coping.

 update
Tia today

Good day to all, I had not seen this site before and I'm glad it's out there. This is a record, archive of an event that has been forgotten by all except those closest to the family. It has been 3 years since the incident. We all miss Aeneas and Julie more than words can express...

Tia is growing like a weed, she's a beautiful child. we are proud of her. I wanted to let anyone know that we have secured Tia's college and we are working on making sure that she has enough funds to support her while she is in College. she still resides with her Grand-mother in Smyra Beach. She remembers her parents and attends they grave site regularly. She is a gifted student and child.

Again, I would like to thank whomever is responsible for this site and also thank everyone who contributed to Tia's funds...

Tracy (AEneas, Zac and Cy's father)
