Hellboy II Viral/ARG?

So, what do we know? Not much. The general consensus (which seems reasonable) is that Panatrog is the name of an organization, international in scope(1), secretive (2) and violent in nature(1), antagonistic to the aims of Hetfet(4), which monitors and studies supernatural creatures (3,5).

Still unknown:
passwords to access panatrog.org
is the main activity of Panatrog to be "destroyers"? Is this just a side effect of their research?
the membership of Panatrog
the relation of Panatrog to the secret device
any relation of Panatrog to Augustine Pharmaceuticals/Uthyntrol
whether Panatrog really deserves to "suffer as they have caused suffering"

"Four out of twelve" and "Twenty less one" both referred to HETFET's launch date, 4-19. They could also mean something else, but that seems messy.

"Five plus one less than a dime" is difficult to parse:
(Five plus one) less than a dime = 4
Five plus (one less than a dime) = 14

To add to your list of unexplained numbers (I'm repeating myself a bit; sorry), I'd mention LXI, or 61, which is Lexi's sign-off occasionally, and 51, as in Area 51, which Lexi said she lived near.

Concerning alliance, here's how I'm reading this right now--needless to say this is built on a ton of assumptions:

Augustine/Panatrog = Corporate Entity/Private, paramilitary group employed by Augustine
HETFET/aSmarmyYeti's (as-yet-unnamed) Group (call it A.G.) = Sin Fein/IRA

So, back in '89 (assuming 7-1-89 is a date), Panatrog is monitoring one of Augustine's sub-span harvesting sites and spots on their camera an AG agent building a door (possibly for use by some sort of underworld resistance; I mean, the guy looked militaristic, right?). HETFET, years later, publicly exposes Augustine for what they're up to, and aSmarmyYeti publicizes the AG's act through unofficial channels (i.e. YouTube) in order to...? Possibly to gain recognition and support for the resistance, and--possibly--to help us delve further into the Device and to further expose Panatrog?

I don't know, lots of missing pieces. Is aSmarmyYeti intentionally helping us? The theory needs work....

As for all of your great ideas/theories, I agress with the Augustine/Panatrog as a corporation. However what I think is Panatrog is the parent corporation and Augustine is the public face to it. In other words, Augustine is using some of the research Panatrog is doing to manufacture and sell publicly goods/services to generate more money for further research on darker more sinester things.

I think aSmarmyYeti is an individual who infiltrated Panatrog and stole information and will slowly begin to release it. I'm still not convinced he/she/it is in any associated with HETFET except they have similar views/goals

 		Quick note: cave berserker (note scary mouth) shows up in HBII trailer as narrator says "by forces beyond our understanding" about 1/3rd in.

Okay, so I did a quick screen capture of that video that was found in the park, you know the one showing the shadow guy coming out of the little door.

The two larger words don't seem to be done by the same person, now I am by no means an expert on graffiti, hell I can't even read the first word, but the styles look different to me.

Notice the 'S' on the second word and what looks like an 'S' to me on the first word.

Now, can anybody help out with what the first word is? To me the second to last letter is a 'K' and the last letter is an 'S'. I want to say the first letter is a 'C' and the second is an 'O' but that would be just wierd and kind of perverse Shocked (though perverted would make sense if it was legit 'real world' graffiti) so if the graffiti is IG then I doubt it is spelling what I think it is.

Any ideas?

*edit* sorry folks I can't figure out how to insert an image off of my desktop.

Also:

So it's definitely a couple of German-speaking folks in the video, but "Dors" means "Sleep" in French (present tense verb), and in terms of gateways to the fairy world, I would imagine dreams are key.

Still nothing on the first word, if it is part of the same tag, if the tag is supposed to mean anything.

Ok, I don't know how helpful any of this is, but since I haven't seen it mentioned, I thought I'd make a few notes here:

1) The pharmaceuticals company is called "Augustine". This is interesting because the "real" fountain of youth is in St. Augustine, FL. Perhaps some reference to that or to Ponce DeLeon could be in the code?

2) Uthyntrol (which, when you break down the word, sounds like it's for killing trolls) is manufactured under a bridge. This brings up the idea of bridge trolls which originated in Scandinavian mythos and, more notably and specifically, in the Three Billygoats Gruff. If only we knew the right words to be allowed to go trip trap trip trap over their bridge, eh?

3) The code for the device that was gained from Mr. Omatta's collar also happens to be Hellboy's "birthday" when entered in the right order.

I think I had another thing, but it has now slipped my mind... I'm sure I'll be back with more soon.

I started to check out www.fairychronicles.com , one of the two sites that had a poem with the exact text Lexi quoted in her blog, but then I started feeling like I was some kind of weird old guy trolling around on a fairy web site, which I was, so I stopped.

 		So I admit it, I went and smeared May Day Dew over my eyes, as per Lexi's assignment.
So far, no fairies, trolls, or different perspectives on the panatrog passwords. Anyone else have better luck?

So in other news, I also smeared morning dew on my face, but I had Clara, my baby girl, with me, who is sort of a pixie herself, so I did her face too and felt far less silly.

I haven't seen any fairies yet, and I can't really say whether or not Clara's seeing any, but I suspect she always has and continues to.

Maybe I'll go mention this to Lexi.

 		My wife would be so cheesed if in the course of playing an ARG I had a vision of my future husband.

So, new video's up at Lexi's site. She's wearing a t-shirt with an image that seems to be from A Midsummer Night's Dream, featuring Nick Bottom and Titania, the fairy queen. Of course she doesn't recognize that. Also, they're totally teasing us with that necklace. It's constantly just out of view. Makes me think it's important.
