hmmm, i was looking at the URL's for the pictures...

the "rig_###.jpg" part is what interests me. ive tried a butt load of other numbers and file types but to no avail...any ideas? or should we just focous on cracking the Username and Password?

I'm not gonna quote all of that in the page before there cause it's way too much, but everyone's got awesome points.

Look- I have two ideas:

Theory 1: MGP is supposed to be a baby, right? His species is very good at evading death, natural or unatural, but they could also be very hard to reproduce (Just think about it. And their size. Tsunamis have one more cause...), so maybe MGP was 'hibernating', perhaps waiting for mate. It probably uses DSN to stimulate itself, and the Parasites are his little friends that collect DSN for him, or also get other aquatic creatures for food. Taggy found him, while drilling/exploring for DSN, and their little lights do not work well with his hibernating mood. So now taggy has a serious problem, and they send everything they have to capture him. When everything fails, they try to kill him. When that doesn't work, they try everything they have to subdue him or knock him out to flee from the region.
I suppose exploding Chuai would be a last measure defense. Then we have the tanker fleeing from the scene and going to NYC Harbor, and MGP follows...

Theory 2: MGP was not that big, maybe only the size of an elephant. Then, Taggy found him digesting so much DSN in short amounts of time. They capture him and do some Auszwitz-style experiments on him, trying to figure out how he does it. (Suckers on his belly, anyone?) As a result, they try to tame him and when that doesn't work, they inject him with huge amounts of steroids to either lose the ability to suck up DSN so fast so he wouldn't interfere, or they just wanted to poison him dead. Then some Hulk shit happens, and he gets angry. And big. The rest is probably the same as the last two sentences of Theory 1.

I'm focusing on the username and password. I've been trying random (not too random though) usernames and passwords to no avail. I have gotten the usual "Unauthorized" page for most, and a couple of times I've gotten a browser generated error.

I'm pretty sure that the person who posted the comment on the MTH-blog saying Alyse should look for the site, was John Garrettie. She said she had been calling and mailing him a lot, so it would make sense that the comment said "please stop.".

So my best guess would be that 'john.garrettie' 'jg' 'jgarrettie' 'johngarrettie' or something will be the username.

My 2 cents on password and username.

There are none.

If you look at the page (which is index.php and is automatically loaded when you go to the site) it is a very simple form. This is not even a real login piece of code. I would bet an exploding belly that whatever is entered is ignored, and hitting 'submit' merely brings you to the unauthorized.html page.

It appears to me that the parasite picture is on the ocean floor.
-Could be they fell off while attacking Chuai
-Could be that's where the monster was originally and they went down to take a look and found him gone.
-Could be the monster in hibernation

I don't see how they could get that close to him if he was awake.

Its safe to assume that Tagruato had a couple of those parasites on Chuai and Since the eco-terrorists were all dead during the monsters attack, I'm willing to bet that a few captured parasites got loose on Chuai when the monster attacked and wiped em out.

I really belive the parasites are on Clover's skin. I am not aware of what the ocean floor looks like, but, judging by the positions of the submarines, I believe that that is Clover's skin.

If so it appears that the two limbs that rise over their head are what they use to either cling to MGP or feed off of him.

Ooh, Clover's skin? That's an interesting thought. It does look kind of curved in the picture like it could be on the monster's back, but that might be just because of the way the light's cast? Hmmmm.
