I'm sure there's some tool out there that can go through 999 URLs.

Yeh, but today's cameras have CCD's that can work with extremely low light, and there seems to be a lot of light coming from the opposite sub. Going from Black/White to color doesn't really change regarding how much light there is.

I'm just saying, if they can get a high tech sub down that far, they can get a high tech camera, and if they can see it with the naked eye, the camera's today can pick up just as much.

Maybe they spent all the money on the subs and completely forgot to get awesome cameras.

can we even be sure we looking at orginal copies, Could be photocopies of the orginals, would explain b&W and the grainyness

I don't question that light isn't supposed to penetrate as deeply as they say, but then a rig that's 3/4 of a mile tall with observation decks that low is also pretty improbably if you want to get into real, applied, non-fictional science. We know that absolute scientific accuracy is not the greatest forte' of the PMs. Wink

The Petronius oil platform runs a couple thousand feet tall (610 meters) from the ocean floor, so that part is at least plausible. However, the first photo is taken deeper than that, and the second photo is just at a rediculous depth for any platform to preform at. In either case, the platform couldn't get anything off the ocean floor, oil nor seabed nectar.

But that is not my point. Your observation deck idea is still plausible. With the main well tower above the surface knocked into the ocean, you could easily view them underwater in that fashion. However, this would be the first I've heard of well towers featuring observation decks; they're usually used to support and house flare vents for methane.

Are you all forgetting that Bold Futura is the manufacturer of Tagruato's drilling machinery/platforms... and that their new technology allows them to operate and drill to previously unheard of levels.. Tag can (and is if I remember the oil flatform locations) The Marianas Trench.

Also.. the the 'observation decks' may also serve as the launching/docking points for the deep sea equipment, hence the huge number of lights. Parked subs firing up as people get the heck out of dodge.

Okay, I'll buy it. But there's still no way that the rig extends down nearly 1000M, and certainly not to the ocean floor, at least not in reality. And I sorta like the ldea of submersibles that go down there to harvest seabed nectar like little honeybees, then bringing it back up to the station where it's stored until it's needed, just like in a hive.

I still get a kick I started this thread. Ok moving on past my greatness..
Things I noticed:
1.
The VIP mentioned in the transmission-guy in videos with the briefcase?
2.
This seems to be a on-going website, and they'll add more (specifically about the disaster) to help Alysse find her answers.
3.
I still can't believe the game-makers have to resort to posting on Page 15 of a thread to "clue us in".

Is this better? Or am i still a terrible liar Razz?

The sister of the famous Teddy Hanssen, Alyse Hanssen, created a blog and a campaign to find her brother. Teddy was a member of TIDOwave and got captured by Tagruato when he was on a mission to find out the secrets behind Chaui Station. He was held hostage there. He is also is the boyfriend of Jamie, he send her evidence from the station which contained Seabednectar, a Slusho! hat and a recorded message in which Teddy states he is being held captive by Tagruato. Jamie saw this as a joke.

The poster was made by Alyse.

This is the blog Alyse made: Missing Teddy Hanssen
She posted a few things to find out what happened to her brother and she got in a discussion with a CIA agent called John Garrettie. He would send her the missing files that she was looking for that would answer her question: "Where is Teddy Hanssen?".

The CIA agent send her this website: Index of /usgx8810b467233px/ref/
The website contains three pictures:

This one shows the monster at Chaui Station (Probably after it got destroyed, you also see a Submarine with a Tagruato logo on it).

On this picture you can see the parasites. There is theory that they are walking on the monsters back, and that the submarine woke the monster up.

This is a transcript of two Tagruato employees talking to each other. This discussion probably took place during the attack of the Chaui Station.

This is the transcript typed down:
http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/8/1/1312619/ATSUMI4767.txt

With the eco-terrorist they mean the TIDOwave members. They got killed according to the transcript. This discussion was probably held while they were using the submarine you see in the other pictures. 4767 would be the Submarine, and Atsumi would be a Tagruato member that is operating from somewhere else. It seems they didn't survive the disaster because of the "screams". Its not sure what they censored with the black stripes.

The USGX website contained a sword, it was put behind some sort of code. The swords are finally linked to something now.

i know everyone is assuming that the depth readings on the photos are a mistake, but keep this in mind.
quoted from tagruato.jp: From the Arctic Ocean to the Mid-Atlantic ridge, we go deep. Capable of excavation at distances exceeding 7,000 meters of water and 9,200 meters of seabed, the greatest depths of the oceans have been opened for business.

the depth listed are entirely plausible, considering tagruato's capabilities. each drilling station is called "a billion dollar marvel of modern engineering".

so, i don't doubt at all that the depth measurements are correct. ridiculous, yes, but go on tagruato.jp for yourself and read up again. they are probably more than capable of doing so.

Yea I'm with lazarus on this one, there HAS to be a video. Wether it's needs to be discovered by Alyse first or not I feel pretty sure that there is one there.

I mean think about it,

1) Like lazarus said, this could be a video to go along with the transcript
2) the whole "SWRD.DX" dealie
3) We still havent proven there ISNT a password and username plus i think we need to try some different "styles" of file names in the url

but i think more than all that, atleast for me, it FEELS like there sould be more to this whole site, i don't know.

SLUSHO IS PEOPLE!! Laughing

Anyways, I hope this site develops more and potentially gives us the real background on MGP.

I hope I read this right, did some of you really think that was an observation deck looking at the parasites on the ocean floor? Maybe my pain killers and muscle relaxers are messing with my head? I think it is clear that it is a submersible looking at the parasites on MGP's back.

I am happy to see they are still throwing us some new info. It is nice to see most of you are still around finding this stuff. You guys rock, keep up the good work.

But we also determined the depth measurements don't fit the location of Chuai, there's nothing deeper than 3k+ Meters in the Atlantic, so it's still busted.

lay off them pizzills.

haha. we've been discussing this. and it could be entirely possible. my only questioning of it, is that towards the right of the picture, near the sub, it almost looks like a rock formation. and unless it's parasite poo, there's rubble everywhere. but still, it could be entirely possible.

if one thing is true, it's that in the beginning of the ARG arcs, none of us no shit about shit, save for what in front of our eyes. but the rampant speculation always digs up something new.

see: Marianas Trench.

"The trench was first surveyed in 1951 by the Royal Navy vessel Challenger, which gave its name to the deepest part of the trench, the Challenger Deep.[1] Using echo sounding, the Challenger II measured a depth of 5,960 fathoms (10,900 metres, 35,760 ft)."[/i]
