It's not Hillside. No roundabouts and the markers are too spread out.

This is exasperating.

Some more suggestions:

Look for cemeteries that are famous for having a famous person buried there, maybe even one the people in the image, or royalty perhaps.

Using Google Earth with the " looking for: , in: " search mode look for cemeteries and do a search for every country on earth, writing the name of the country and the word cemetery in the language of the country you are looking at. Using cemetery or cemeteries brings different results.

Okay a few things about the locations... Just brainstorming with some friends here. Forgive me if some of this was already brought up, but I don't have the time right now to go over it all (we're on our way out the door).

First of all, I put pins in a Google Map for the known locations to see if there was any kind of spatial relationship, but I couldn't really see anything: http://tinyurl.com/5hlwu7

Also, most of the locations fit on one "wonder of the world" list or another (a lot of those lists are here: http://wonderclub.com/AllWorldWonders.html).

Next, are there links from the people to the places? There's a LOT of room for interpretation, so it's kind of hard to draw conclusions. Malcolm X has been to Egypt, Bundy rhymes with Fundy, Kennedy linked to Cuba via the Cuban Missle Crisis, JK Rowling from England (Stonehenge)... Like I said, it's a stretch, but maybe there's something there... Anyway, good luck, I'll try to check back before midnight to see if we got something...

@Tres nothing, sorry.

Guys seriously I'm kinda finding it hard to believe this is a cemetery but if it is one... Maybe look at the ones where the people on the list are possibly buried?

We're down to a little less than four hours. I'm really beginning to think we might need a hint or something, as much as I hate to say it. I'm asking everyone I know for help and nobody is coming up with anything.

Are we sure that Cuba shouldn't be "The Bay of Pigs"?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bay_of_Pigs_Invasion

I am trying to match things up so I can see what is left (for the last photo) and if it is the Bay of Pigs, that would match with Kennedy better.

I'm stumped. I've looked at so many cemeteries my eyes are beginning to cross. Don't know where to look anymore and the worst part is it's probably right in front of us.

Sorry everyone. I'll keep trying.

If the picture isn't rotated can we conclude something from the shadows of the trees? At least if it's in the Northern or southern hemisphere? My reasoning being that the shadow would point north or south depending on the angle the sun makes with the earth.
Speaking of shadows could the circular thing in the middle be a big sun clock? Maybe that can help narrow the search.

I am thinking they key might be in the matching - trouble is, there can be many different matches and don't know which is correct. For example:

John F. Kennedy - Bay of Pigs (Presidential thing he did)

Bay of Pigs - Bay of Fundy (both Bays)

Stonehedge - Bay of Fundy (both stone formations)

Alice Cooper - Elvira (horror movies)

Alice Cooper - Pamela Anderson (contemporary pop idols)

Freud/Darwin - famous legends of the past

Malcom X/Rosa Parks (equal rights)

Theodore Bundy/Karla (both serial killers)

Pope/Mother Tereasa (religious figures)

Dr. Ruth/Anne Frank (both Jewish)

Dr. Ruth/Lawrence Welk - both had German language/accents

Wall of China/The Sphinx, Pyramid Egypt - man made wonders

Macchu Pichu/Pyramid - both pryamid

So if we can pick the best match, maybe we can figure out the cemetery - only one left.

Edited: Also another match - Joanne "Jo" Rowling/Anne Frank - authors

or Joanne "Jo" Rowling - Stonehedge - Both Britain

Edited:

Also FUNDY - BUNDY - rhymes. (then that would leave Karla Leanne Teale/Anderson - Both Blondes from Canada)

Hey guys. I've looked, searched, searched and looked... I think the fact we're keeping this mainly to cemetaries is hindering us though.

I'll be going to bed soon as it's 2am almost, I won't be able to finish the final 3 hours Sad

Good luck all!

Man, if it turns out to be that simple I'm going to punch a baby.
