We are kind of just in a waiting game right now. Jacks is supposed to be getting a package in the mail soon. and there is a password protected subdirectory at the bullerman website.

Thanks

Thanks for the update Natas! While we wait for that package I might scan over the blog or Bullerman.net with Zinc using some of the new tricks we learned in the player tutorial for any clues to the password.

Is this new?

On bullerman.net there was obviously the huge block of OUTOUTOUT at the bottom... But now there is a line of it next to the e-mail adress?

Was this there before?

One more thing...

Me and Zinc are searching through the message from a friend on the blog. Have there been any clues found there yet regarding the italisized (sp?) words and letters?

That is a good question.. I'm not sure. Ask Toasty, I think he's running some kind of program that tells him if the webpage changes. I don't notice anything in it that might help us though.

Good idea, I'll pm toasty now...

Maybe there is something somehow hidden in the source code? I'm new, so to me this seems like a plausable idea...

The outs under Mike e-mail have been there for awhile. Good find though.
Good luck on cracking the login page. It's stymied me so far.
I'm starting to think maybe it's a Catch-22 situation. We need Cstrifes package for more clues to the password but he's not going to send it until we get into the subdirectory.

Hey, mr.toasty, you got a box of rocks, right? i was wondering if they had any significance, cuz a box of rocks is slightly random, dont you think?

The real point of the drop was the note inside the box. The rocks were there to simply keep it from blowing away.

Probably the only one I'll ever get. That's why I really hope this picks up again.

Cstrife311 on AIM

Sorry for the double post, but I just talked to Cstrife311:

Quote:
tjacks4tw (12:35:30 AM): Hey!
Cstrife311 (12:35:59 AM): Have you heard of JASON?
Cstrife311 (12:36:09 AM): I hadn't until I started working.
tjacks4tw (12:36:16 AM): Yeah, a military thing?
Cstrife311 (12:36:34 AM): The disc has not been sent. There is more you need to see. Please be patient.
tjacks4tw (12:36:48 AM): no problem....i can be patient
Cstrife311 (12:37:26 AM): I wish there was a way to provide more updates. I just don't have the time. So much to think about.
Cstrife311 (12:37:49 AM): If I tell you something, promise not to get angry?
Cstrife311 (12:37:52 AM): Its about Mike.
tjacks4tw (12:38:01 AM): of course, you have my word
Cstrife311 (12:38:10 AM): We have him sedated. Its for his own good. Xay's order.
tjacks4tw (12:38:29 AM): wow...as long as it's for his own good, i suppose
Cstrife311 (12:38:44 AM): Jacks, stuffs going to explode.....big
Cstrife311 (12:39:02 AM): They are looking for something. I believe its in Iowa
tjacks4tw (12:39:12 AM): i have a contact in iowa
Cstrife311 (12:39:20 AM): I think we found coordinates...but I'm not sure yet.
tjacks4tw (12:39:49 AM): coordinates would be a great start
Cstrife311 (12:39:53 AM): I'm glad you stay in touch with me.
Cstrife311 (12:39:56 AM): Nobody else has.
Cstrife311 (12:40:08 AM): I understand though. Nobody really knows us.
Cstrife311 (12:40:19 AM): I wish you could see the work we do.
tjacks4tw (12:40:19 AM): i won't leave you hanging
Cstrife311 (12:40:24 AM): Thank you Jacks.
tjacks4tw (12:40:36 AM): np....i would love to see what you guys do
Cstrife311 (12:40:53 AM): I shall include that on the disc.
tjacks4tw (12:41:14 AM): awesome...i'm very curious about everything that's going on
Cstrife311 (12:41:17 AM): The little I can show.
Cstrife311 (12:41:29 AM): You will find it quite amazing and horrifying at the same time
Cstrife311 (12:41:41 AM): I can't explain it.
tjacks4tw (12:41:57 AM): that's understandable.....sounds like it would be difficult to
Cstrife311 (12:42:51 AM): I must go now jacks. I am glad you were on....I was hoping you didn't give up.
Cstrife311 (12:43:04 AM): Have a good weekend.
Cstrife311 (12:43:05 AM): I
I feel the time is coming
I
I walk into your eyes

Oh, I dont care if the clock is turning
Cause Im going to the other side
You either die
Or you keep on burning alive
And I am burning

I
I walked a long long distance
I
Im feeling sore inside
Oh, I dont care if the sky is falling
Cause Ill never get to see the light

You either die
Or you keep on burning alive
And I am burning
And I am burning
tjacks4tw (12:43:05 AM): i'm still with you, friend
Cstrife311 (12:43:22 AM): hopefully you understand what I am saying
Cstrife311 (12:43:29 AM): night
tjacks4tw (12:43:32 AM): later

I guess there's some relevance to that song.
