That had to have been a weird coincedence, there's no way you could have figured it out from his brief mention of Lincolnshire, even if you knew it was a hint.

I think this is the rest period he mentioned after the push. His recent twitter update makes me think it's not over.

*crosses fingers*

We didn't get it, though. Given the sequence of events last night, I'm guessing this is some kind of in-game lockout.

I'm not convinced that we did get it. Why would an anonymous poster do that?

Well, at least Bex isn't going in the chipper?

...Yeah, I'm trying to find some ray of light here but it ain't working.

EDIT: To those that were the subjects of my ire last night, I would again like to apologize. I try to be "Mr. Peaceful Resolution Guy" and sometimes that can cause me to get overly frustrated. It would've been much easier and less frustrating had I just let you guys play out whatever it is you wanted to play out there. Ironically I wasn't following my own advice.

Her blog isn't "down" ( http://kristinchalmers.wordpress.com/ ); it simply hasn't gotten any updates since the 28th of April.

The blog never gave us much information we didn't already know or get from elsewhere. I think the blog was created several months ago with the express purpose of using it in this ARG. Talk about planning...

Night, I think it was created for us because it was The Storyteller who told us to find the reporter, "...you need each other." Then it said in the 48hip source code "Who is Kristin Chalmers?" And that led amandel to find her blog. Additionally, she registered on our in-game forum as KChalmers, and she mentioned finding the game online in her blog.

No prob. I think we were all on edge last night/this morning and to be honest some have been frustrated with Doc the entire game. It just all reached a head last night.

Right now, I have the scorecard as 2-0-1
Our victories: finding Simcoe and completing the obits
Last night was a tie, the cemetery was im-freaking-possible but we got everything else.

The new twitter about honesty has to mean that he was waiting to see if someone claimed the anonymous email. (which on page 38, of ScavHunt, I already thought that would be failure to do that). I sent an email to appeal to his senses....if he has any. I think we need to apply this honesty test to Doc being dishonest.....he has said before that he would not lie. But isn't a fake email a lie?

Also, http://www.hurtstoheal.com/livepsychgallery/ still works, so all is not gone yet. (no new pics in it)

And I haven't received any reply to my email. (sent about 5 am....i forget)

Maybe if the doctor photoshops the picture and puts x's through her eyes.. Ahh, some people would still speculate otherwise. Oh well, I tried.

Okay, just a few things to say. (Don't worry, I'm not going back into exploding-mode.)

First of all, yesterday, during the mid-afternoon/early evening hours, I received a failure notice in my email inbox about a borked email delivery from toolgrounds. The date it is listed as being sent is April 21st. When I received it, I took one look at the date and brushed it off, figuring it was irrelevant to the current endeavor. I don't know if this was the PMs trying to anonymously deliver a hint or what, but given that Doc says the email came from toolgrounds, it does seem a little too coincidental now. So if my failure to report this has somehow screwed things up, not only will I feel very stupid but I would like to apologize for my error in judgment on this matter.

Secondly, I'm making an educated guess about Doc's motivations from comments that, admittedly, may not apply anymore, but I think the Doc's purpose in doing this study was to see if his cynical theories about humanity were right. He wanted validation for feeling that humanity, as a whole, is a group of people unconcerned with their fellow man and the wellbeing of strangers. If I'm right about this, then this study is flawed. If my guess as to his motivations is correct, then our success or failure at his arbitrary tasks shouldn't be the focus of the study, but rather the hard work and determination we put into saving this complete stranger. Most of us stayed up to all hours of the morning for this. Some of us actually divided time between children and this, which I definitely feel is above and beyond the call of duty by far and should be lauded. We clearly gave of our time and effort, and clearly had a very firm drive to save this girl. The fact that we couldn't succeed isn't the important thing; the fact that we tried our damnedest to succeed is.

Thirdly, given the above? I don't care how the Doc sees this, I consider this a rousing success. The girl died. This is sad, and I wish it could've been avoided, but we did all we could and in the harsh light of day, I personally think our efforts stood quite strong. If Doc wants to view this as validity for his cynical theories, that's great for him, but I for one feel that we should take pride in what we tried to do here, even if we didn't ultimately accomplish the goal.

Well said, Esteed.
If this is over... that would suck.
Maybe now I can get some friggin' sleep though.
