Couldn't have said it better myself, Esteed. Not even with a thesaurus.

And to add some support in claim of your second point, I think that's exactly what the doc's quote means.
Quote:
Never test the waters with an open wound.

Translation: Don't go swimming near shark territory when you're bleeding.
Translation part 2: Don't go into the public after people have hurt you.

So he was hoping to redeem his feelings towards humanity and he got his feelings hurt because he was only looking at the lack of an end product, not the efforts.

An Experiment in Paraphrasing.
sorry Esteed, I'm bored.

Bah... Doc's a loon.

I'm just worried he's going to find another contestant. Of course, I wish he tried to get Serena and ends up getting his ass royally kicked. Twisted Evil

Even if we knew it was in England, I would be really surprised if we found it. It's in a backwater village in the middle of nowhere. It's not famous for anything. Heck, even the Google Maps marker is in the wrong place.

Wanna know how famous this cemetery is? Find-a-Grave lists ONE person buried there...

I think that's a different cemetery. Didn't Doc say it was in Boston?

1 person eh... In my mind, that confirms the planned ending theory.

You guys, I just don't feel like this was "impossible". We screwed up.
If you go to Google Maps and type in "Boston, England" it takes you there.
Then if (without zooming or moving the map or anything) you type "cemetery" into the search box, Spalding Cemetery is the ONLY ONE that comes up.

...I'm not saying it wasn't a little bit tricky, but it certainly wasn't impossible. We just weren't open-minded, and didn't think that it could be any other Boston other than Massachusetts. I don't feel right blaming anyone other than ourselves for failing this task, because it wasn't "impossible"... just a little tricky.

Maybe not impossible in the textbook definition of the word, but I think saying it was only "a little tricky" is a massive understatement.

But why on Earth would we Have typed in Boston, England? It wasnt until moments before the end that we were given the Boston Clue. I mean if we had had it 20 hours earlier, sure we would have found it.
