hehe, sorry for the Slashdot reference, i couldn't resist, a Beowulf cluster is many computers linked in parallel using software called Beowulf

but i was thinking about "metastasizing" and how basically means to spread or propigate (jsut liek teh floood!!!1 omgwtfbbq!!!113.14)

ahem... anyway... i think that when this AI metastasizes, Melissa will create a parallel cluster of many computers to spread herself out over, not individual Operators running on each one, but one AI conciousness using many computers, the more machines she infects, the smarter she'll get, it also means that her thoughts may become even more fragmented as we hop from site to site

just something to keep in mind when more sites show up
