Doesn't look like any of the special versions are significant to the ARG...

Each one apparantly has a number...but no swords, so they probably serve no purpose.

I've got a Steelbook and a TJ Miller Diary exclusive.
Is the borders exclusive worth getting a third copy? Is there actually anything good in the book (specifically, anything ARG related)? Oh, and does anyone know if the book would fit in the Steelbook cover (there's like prongs for a booklet, and the borders book would look so nice if it fit well)?

I just want to keep a running tally of swords we've found, so far I've got 11, that's including Slusho, Tagruato, Dvd, USGX, etc.
What are the 11?
I've got Slusho, Tagruato, DVD, USGX.com, Tidowave, Teddy's Missing Poster (on backside on 1-18-08.com), Jamie and Teddy.. what am I missing?

sadly no, the borders booklet does not fit into the steelbook version. it's the exact size of a regular dvd case so it is just slightly too big. nothing terribly new in the photos (mainly stuff we've seen online all through the cloverfield experience)

2 Slusho, 2 Tag, 2 Dvd, Usgx, 2 JamieandTeddy, Tido, 1-18-08.com
From the USGX Thread

Well it'd be 2 on Slusho!, 2 on Tagruto, 1 on the back of Teddy's pic on 1-18-08, 1 on TIDO, 2 off of Jaime and Teddy, and 1 off this new site.
So that'd be 9 online and I'm not so sure about DVD.
So that Makes 11 with the two on the DVD sticker.

tell me i'm not the first to speculate that the swords are indicating the supplementary files? of course that wouldn't work for the audio files... AD could mean something else anyway..

if VD is Video Documents, then AD must be Audio Documents, which the Transcript would be linked to one. And PX, well PIX...I guess...the logic falls apart, then again, when was the last time Government organization made sense?

I hadn't thought of AD and VD as standing for Audio and Video Documents, but rather AD = AuDio and VD = ViDeo... with that line of thinking, PX makes a little more sense.
Still, my more important thought was could it be possible that everywhere we see a sword logo, that is a supplemental file? So like there is a logo on J&T.com and that is one of the files. So one of the unknown files could be the tidowave blog for example. If that's the case, we can probably figure out which things on the list we have and haven't found yet.

Well...that is a pretty good Idea, aren't there 9 supplementals? plus the missing usgx site that's 10 supplementals. 11 Swords, minus 2 swords on the dvd there are 9 swords in all, ...so...does this prove what is what? 0.o

Ever seen military abbreviations for the weekly calendar?
U M T W H F S
Doesn't always follow the first letter, eh?
They don't want you confusing Su nday and S aturday, T uesday and Th ursday.
Why does "PX" have to follow so strictly it can't mean "pictures"?

Then what would they be? At least we have a speculation to go on?

PX = Pics, I'm very sure of it.
We got audio (with the transcript), we got vids, we got pics... They must be.
If we're going to speculate, at least give a lead of what could it be... Just a thought.
