Do we still have any clues, WHY this happens?

Just because you get bitten by something doesn't mean you explode...I meant, why do you explode from being bitten?

Yeh, So it would seem the parasites have a venom that when applied to humans either increases blood cell production exponentially to the point of explosion, or swells the blood cells up exponentially to achieve the same effect...so...this venom could also be a godsend for treating people with low blood, just put a little bit of the venom and pow, the blood starts generating, but of course you'd have to have an antivenom to stop the exponential growth...

I still like the idea that its a reaction to the bugs saliva that caused it. Sorta like the toxins in Mosquitoes and fleas that cause swelling and prevent blood from clotting so they can drink the blood of their victims.

Normally this would be MGP and to him this is little more then a ...well a bug bite. To a human however.... ehhh not so good.

Kinda think of it this way how big is the bump on your arm after a Mosquito bite? About the same size as the mosquito. Now imagine that same scale with our Parasites. The amount of swelling could be enough to cause some one to go "POP" Albeit I think the reaction was greatly speed up for dramatic effect Very Happy
