hmmmm, IF this is true, i'll be drastically surprised.

that would make the sequel talk and the "Its still alive" thing at the end of the credits completely pointless.

Well, the sequel is believed to be taking place during the same attack, so it is still possible without having to do a prequel. Also, does JJ say when Clover dies? It doesn't neccessarily have to be in the current movie if he doesn't say when, though some believe that Momma Clover is still alive (I personally think Clover is the last, but for this instance yets say he's not) and could arrive looking for Clover in the sequel.

This just goes to show you that nothing that comes out of that man's mouth is anywhere near reliable information. His words should be considered non-canon. Just look shocked when he says something that seems to be paramount and revealing and then seek to confirm it when something in-canon is actually released.
