Something I didn't quite understand at the party

Considering we can't really see where his face is in relationship to the camera, I don't think we can conclude what she is able to see. I know there was a publicity shot with Hud holding a camera a bit off to the side, but that's not any absolute indication of what he's doing in that shot. Keep in mind he's already a bit nervous about approaching her - so hiding a bit behind the camera sounds probable.

I'll have to fire up the DVD again and watch that scene - oh dang, what a shame! Very Happy

well the only reason that we get the idea that he has the camera already to one side is because of the direction in which marlena is looking. She looks to her right and not straight forward so it would seem that he's holding the camera to the side. and then he moves it more to the right as if it's so big that she couldnt see him...

i agree with the post about marlena just trying to be nice. she seemed a little tipsy, her myspace references her penchant for booze, and she probably just didn't recognize him until he told her who he was.

I think it's obvious that she is annoyed by Hud and is just kind of patronizing him so he will be satisfied and go away. Kind of like when your parents call you and you just kind of say "yeah yeah wow yeah cool" just to make the convorsation go faster.

When Marlena made the 'going away present' comment Hud missed a great chance. I would've said "Did I mention I'm leaving for Honduras?" or some such thing.
